  • Sorry mb

  • Good deal op!

  • +1

    That's a 75% keyboard. I know the product page says 60%, but it's not.

Good deal, since being hotswap makes it an awesomely cheap entry for someone that wants to learn to tinker.

Need to check what kind of hotswap switches does this take though. Most of the time when a keeb comes with outemu, it’ll have the “sleeved” socket, thus needing thin pin switches such as outemu and some akko..

      • +1

I've got this and made the mistake of buying switches that didn't fit the thin sockets. I had a lot of wasted switches before I realised.

Very good catch! I haven't had hotswap Outemus before and didn't know this! Definitely a good "buyer beware".

According to Akko, "Akko CS switches (including the Jelly lines) are compatible with Outemu mechanical sockets."

With the availability and low pricing of Akko switches, that's still a good amount of choice should someone get this and want to experiment.

        • And those budget Akko switches are great, always really highly recommended, especially their tactile lineups.

          • @CrispyChrispy: Too light springs and clacky for my liking, but they're great for lots of people, especially on a budget.

  • Dammit, would've bought this

  • I just posted another keyboard, maybe you would get that one

Pulling the trigger if it gets down below $10 again

    • I don't think that was hotswap, though good price nevertheless
