This isn't a deal, you can find that price in lots of fruit and veg shops.

Just don't buy fruit and veg at the big supermarkets and you won't get ripped off.

  • looks like $0.08! :D

  • That's the normal price

Dont judge too early, Go n see, then judge. I understand most big supermarket ripped off, asian groceries (my area) selling $2.2 for 2 choy sum. But, NOT always this fresh n cheap! I m not working for coles, I m giving my opinion as a housewife.

    • Doesn't make it a bargain worth posting, anyhow moving along

    • this fresh n cheap

lol, "fresh" in a thread about Coles is plain wrong

maybe you meant limp n cheap ????

    • +1

That's the normal price for months at my local Woolies, should be same price at 'proper' Asian grocers!

    • guys, if you don't buy choy sum you wouldn't know that it's often expensive.

      listen to the housewife.

Where? I normally don't get much change from $2 at the supermarket for these…

I think I have a spare keyboard with your missing 'a' and 'd' keys if you need one, seems like yours is broken. Every time you type 'and' all it has is 'n'…

  • not a deal. you can get these for cheaper at the Asian store…

  • +2

guys youre not a housewife youre not suppose to know about it!

  • u guys should shop at footscray, we get 3 bunches for $2
pretty much everyday price, clearly the big super markets is ripping people off.

having said that not everyone have access to footscray, so its still a deal for some out there

    • The expensive rate for bok choy at Springvale is 3 bunches fir $2, the cheap rate will be 5 for $2, btw. Even the fruit shop at Chadstone normally sell them under $1.

but this is also about choy sum. choy sum is not bok choy. choy sum is more expensive than boy choy… zzz

  • Nice looking Bok Choi, dont know if it belongs on oz bargain tho.

  • This has been the regular price at Coles MW for at least the last 365 days. I know coz I shop there. Lols

      • -1

i mean you pay less in any Asian supermarkets for the same green vegetalbes. YOU, understand?

Too expensive. Should cost no more than 60 cents a bunch.

      66c incl. GST

      • Aren't all retailers supposed to display GST inclusive prices anyway?

  • +2

Putting veges on ice display is one of the dumbest marketing gimmicks. The contact with ice ruins the veges, waste of good food. Also most asian grocers sell them for cheaper.

  • normal price for all green leafy lines (choy sum, pak choy, buk shoy, gay choy) at safeway (forest hill aat least) is 99c….
