  • Damn I think I only got offered 1000pts when I got this a few weeks ago.

  • Can we join and cancel just before it ends and still get the bonus pts ?

    • +1

      yes, bunnings one is good

  • If they credit your Flybuys account with 5000 pts in exactly 4 weeks, that pretty close to potentially paying for 2 months on the Onepass.

    • Join in just before 12 Apr.

      • The $4 is taken out on the 12th of each month?

        • +1

The bonus pts will be given 4 weeks from end of promotion date.

    • +1

It doesn't actually say you have to maintain the onepass subscription to be given the points.

      • I might check with support on this.

If anyone knows this, please do share.

    • +1

Still not sure if doing the free 30 day trial will get you the points either. Also its UP TO 4 WEEKS. So you may pay nothing and get the flybuys before anything is needed. Shouldn't be an issue with cancelling whenever. Even the Disney+ deal last year, was still giving flybuys when people were cancelling immediately.

  • This is targeted I believe.
"You have been specifically selected for this offer and it is not transferable."

  • Can we sign up then cancel and still get the bonus points

  • -3

Oh boy I can't wait to follow this up for months to get the points
My 18th and final lot of points just came through a couple of weeks ago from the Disney+ promo.

6 accounts this time. Here we go!

    • It’s targeted tho. Unless all your accounts got it too

      • -2

6 7 accounts targeted this time

  • not bad, not bad…

  • How do I link Onepass to my flybuys? There isn’t anywhere for me to put in this detail

    • It doesn't say anywhere you're meant to

      • +1

So how do they credit my flybuys? Is each link unique therefore it automatically links it?

        • That's the idea.
Similar to CR or SB tracking. Except I bet you it will fail like it did for the Disney deal.

Edit: not auto linked, but auto credited. You'll still need to enter your FB number on each linked OnePass service to earn points. Which is stupid.

        • The email is sent from Flybuys, it even shows your Flybuys balance at the top of the email.

That's how it knows your FB account.

  • Signed up.
    Lets see how this goes.

    • Don't think it's going to go well…..the offer starts from Thu 16 Mar to 11:59pm AEDST ….

      • ?

        • Looks like you signed up before the offer start time (Thu 16 Mar to 11:59pm AEDST).

  • how can we get everyone to enjoy this deal?

  • Must have never subscribed in the past. Need to wipe my identify first.

  • I'd linked a Onepass account to Bunnings a month or so ago and never received the welcome pack email so thought that'd expired…

But can confirm it's live still.

    • They send to your mail box

      • They send an email with a link to a web form asking for your mailing address. That's what I was talking about.

        • I filled in my address when I signed up from my memory

  • Did this yesterday, linked up all accounts (catch, Kmart, target and Bunnings). Received the Bunnings Welcome pack email today and activated it - pack to be sent in 10 days. Picked the $4 month option so if cancel and get the 5000 points will be $31 in front plus free coffees and keys from bunnings - not bad

No target, kmart or catch offers/welcomes - aside from $10 at Target if spend $50

    • Do you mean $21 in front?

5000 flybuys points is worth $25.

      • +1

$31 is including the $10 Bunnings gift card.

    • Just signed up today. When activating Bunnings I was redirected to Bunnings webbsite and got a message that they found a Bunnings account with my email address but linked to a different OnePass account. Weired because I have never had a Bunnings account and no one else has access to my email. However it did show in my OnePass account Bunnings is activated. I am confused.

When you signed up to OnePass, did you have the same experience or you have already had a Bunnings account so that you just linked it? Thanks.

Also I found nowhere to input my flybuys number. But I did clcik on the "subscribe now" button in email. I looked at the email and it doesn't seems like unique to me. Do you find anywhere to put down flybuys number?

  • Do you get the 5000 bonus points if after clicking through the link in the promo email then opting for the 30 Day Trial?
Or are the bonus flybuys points only for those that opt for paid subscription option?

I ask as as I look through the Onepass website at my details - my Flybuys membership number appears nowhere!

    • +2

After I click through I didn't have a paid option. Free trial is under both monthly or yearly option. I chose monthly option and provided my credit card details. I haven't checked if I have been charged or not. I only signed up yesterday. Hopefully someone else who signed up earlier can tell us more.

      • Me too. Didnt get a paid option to choose. Only free trial. Little worrying that they dont want money at all lol. Maybe they want your info more than money??

        • Same here, I went through the link and use free trial.
Cancelled it before payment came out.
It does say they "Bonus points earned during the promotion will be credited to qualifying member’s accounts within 4 weeks of the end of the Offer Period."
Since the end of the period was 12/04 we still probably hjave a while before we know if the FBs will be paid out to free trial members.

  • anyone get the 5000 points yet?

    • No.

    • Nope

    • Still waiting for points to be added

    • Signed up on 10th Apr. Haven’t received any points yet.

      • curious to know too. I signed up on 11 Apr. no points yet as well.

        • Same for me. Called contact centre today and they said it should arrive mid-month but the person wasn't very convincing.

I also don't know if you can cancel and still get the bonus pts.

      • im waiting as well for the bonus points and want to cancel my onepass asap. I've only used their free delivery service once.

  • Anyone gonna risk canceling OnePass before the first $4 payment to see if you could receive the Flybuys points?

    • I see no reason why this wouldn't be allowed

    • I'm on the fence…. got 1 day left before free trial ends :-)

      • me too, feel like cancelling it cos I have used it zero times

    • +1

I've already cancelled, still waiting on points.

    • +2

If it helps, I signed up for a free OnePass trial for the previous 500 point deal and got the points, after cancelling. However that specifically stated a trial.

Subscribe to OnePass and you’ll collect 500 bonus points, plus the first 30 days free.* Continue your subscription as a paid OnePass member for an additional 2 months and you’ll collect another 1,000 bonus points.^

Offer valid Wed 1 Feb to Tue 28 Feb 2023

      I signed up on 28 Feb 2023, cancelled 14 Mar 2023 (trial period ended 30 Mar 2023). Received 500 points on 28 Mar 2023.

Since this promo ended 12th of Apr, you might expect to see points on or around the 12th of May. Since mine was a month after the end date.

    • +2

Cancelled mine last night. Tried to order something from Bunnings for a free delivery but couldn't even login to OnePass and got error messages a few times. So no need to keep the account. There is no mention in T&C that we need to maintain account for certain time or need a paid subscription to receive bonus 5000 points. So should work unless FB messed it up and need to call to have it sorted.

  • Anyone had these bonus 5000 credited yet?

  • So, one more day until it's '4 weeks of the end of the Offer Period' and we will have to start calling them
    - anybody actually get the points yet?

  • +1

No points yet, will probably wait until at least one person here gets points before I start emailing

  • +1

No points yet even after 4 weeks, finally I called Flybuys and was asked to send through proof of Onepass membership, when I signed up etc. (she asked for my Onepass member number but I said I never got one, does anyone know? Or where to find it?)

Sigh… I am getting flashbacks to the Disney+ fiasco O_o

    • +1

After login on the top right corner, " my card", directly below "logout". Click on it you will see your card number and the carcode. I believe card number is OnePass member number.

I hope we don't have to contact FB to get the points. I didn't have to with Disney+ offer and received 4000 points within 28 days. If I have to contact them then I am in trouble as I didn't write down "DOB" I used when I signed up with FB years ago when I thought I was being smart by not giving them my real DOB. Now I am thinking I am stupid not writing it down. :(

Anyone here knows a way to find out DOB used when signing up FB? Thanks

      • Oh this actually happened to me on the last Disney+ promo. After not receiving the points I contacted them with FB chat and they asked me to provide my details (name address DOB) but then they said the details don’t match with what they have. I asked which detail doesn’t match, but they wouldn’t tell me, I had to send them a copy of my driver licence before they could help me with anything else. Felt a bit iffy to email them my driver licence copy, but I had no choice. After a couple of weeks they finally sorted it out. I then had to wait another month until my Disney+ points show up.

Can’t believe I have to do this all over again now 😅

        • I missed some points couple of yeas ago and I rang. I was told information I provided didn't match what are their system. I knew it was DOB as I can login to check address and name. They asked me to email a copy of my driver licence. I didn't do it for 2000 points. If it was more points I would have done it. After that I never made any enquiries. This time I did wonder if I should take part in this OnePass promotion then decided 5000 points worth a try. Now I am not sure again if I would want to email them my driver licence.

      • I have made numerous contacts with FB by email when I did not receive points on 4-week deals because items were OOS and did not have to provide DOB only the membership number. Make sure you use the email address used for the FB account.
        [email protected]

        • Ok. I emailed FB couple of times too using email address registered on my FB account. But they asked me DOB on both occassions. Then asked me for copy of driver licence.

          • @apple0604: Maybe it depends on the matter you are trying to resolve. My issue was usually that I did not receive 10,000 points, which is a reasonable amount, and I never had to go through these checks.

            • @Yola: Makes sense. Mine relate to a survey. Vaguely remember I was asked to provide a disscription of my experience in details and I would be given 2000 points (maybe 1000 points, not sure now). I gave up.

  • +3

I just rang flybuys this morning. They said there was some issues but couldn't tell me what they could be. He said he will send an email and they will get back to me. Who knows, I'll let you know more when I know more. It's quite annoying to be honest.

  • I rang fb. They did say it’s safe to cancel one pass subscription, and still get the points.

    Holding them to that.

  • I think I received 5000 points this afternoon as my total points increased by 5000 although it hasn't shown in transaction list yet. I guess it will show soon, maybe in 15 mins.

    Everyone, check yours.

    • Also got my 5000 points now.

    • Woohoo just got mine too! Strangely it says transacted on 9th May, but I checked this morning and it wasn’t there yet. Oh well, we can all feel relieved now :)

      • +1

They backdated the transaction so that if anyone challenge them they would claim points were allocated with 28 days of offer end date.

  • Got them too. Reason I got twitchy about it is that my 2nd renewal is coming up in 3 days. Did not really want to pay another 4 dollars for something I haven’t used.

    Can safely cancel now.

  • -2

Got points on all 10 accounts I signed up on.

For what it's worth, I didn't pay a renewal on any of them (I let them lapse with failed payment).

  • +1

Just got my 5000 points, awesome

    • +2

Me too, cancelled one day before it expired

  • Email them this morning and just got a response as below.

    Hi Bla bla bla,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Please be advised that the points will be allocated around middle of May.

    We apologise for the delay.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We'll be happy to help.

    Kind regards,

    Hannah

  • +1

Got my 5K points today as well, dated 9th May like others experienced. I didn't cancel my monthly a/c before renewal so $4 down :-(

  • Also received 5000 this morning.

  • Points received!

  • Got my points!

  • 5000 pts received.
