Got an email explaining normal $500 trade-in bonus is now $800 with customer coupon code. Code looks unique so probably targeted.

Already got my S23 for a good price using Harvey Norman deal, so I don't need another one!

  • Anyone have trouble uploading or taking photo of their drivers licence for the trade up part. Keeps saying doesnt recognise and tells me to click continue to type manually, but there is no continue button. Tried both taking photo from the site and also uploading photos that has already been taken.

    • The Trade Up app is so crap. I couldn't enter and select my address for ages. Left it for a day, came back and it suddenly worked.

    Order placed for S23 Ultra 512G. Came to $1046 after:

    - $100 loyalty voucher
    - $50 newsletter voucher
    - Couldn't find any accessories I really wanted, so got a whole bunch of chargers to make up $250

        10% discount voucher I emailed loyalty to say I am an existing Samsung user and want to upgrade to S23 Ultra. The $100 voucher I contacted chat and said I was a iPhone user looking to swap to Samsung.

  • Holy moly, just was curious and looked in the link about Samsung upgrading their operations.
    And found their delivery windows are anything up to 6-7 weeks for metro, or 10-12 weeks for regional depending on state…

    Please help me get my head around this!! I have read all the thread and am now just confused!! You ozbargainers know all the tricks LOL
    So I have a S21 ultra, but it has a small crack on the screen and on the back - so I won't get much for a trade in! However if I say that it is all fine and cop the $60 for not sending it back thats okay right? I am sure I did similar when I traded s9 to S21

    So in easy terms , how do I get the best value out of the current trade in deal? I do have access to the education portal

      You're better off saying it's cracked, take the $1 trade in and the fee will only be $30 if you don't send it back. You'll also only need to pay the $1 security charge as opposed to the full value of the trade in.

      • What if you "lose" your credit card and request a replacement card so the old card is void so they can't charge the fee? Reckon they'll send debt collectors for $30?

      • "You have 7 days to return your device to Asurion once you receive your new eligible Galaxy device. If you do not return your device within 14 days, you will be automatically charged a Late Return Fee of up to $60, which is non-refundable. The Security Charge will be held until your device is received and graded. Samsung may also charge you for any additional bonus credit applied to your order"
        Its from Samsung website. Not sending trade in device maybe not a good idea according to that last line.

    No tracking since I ordered on Tuesday, status still shows awaiting dispatch. But come home today and it was delivered. Not complaining in the turn around time but I guess for others who have ordered wouldn't trust the order status from the Samsung website.

        The Watch 5 website was a bit broken for me and I couldn't select colour, so what I did was enter Bespoke Studio, select the colour and case that I wanted, and then added to cart. For some reason the price on the website is $399, but the price in the Bespoke studio was $349.

        It was the 40mm Bluetooth version btw.

        For me all it took to get the discount for me was to buy a watch with the frame and watch strap being different colours

  • Are all cancelled orders are for 256 gb? If anyone can confirm anything more than that also cancelled?

    • The common trait between cancelled orders are
      - Black S23 Ultra
      - Contains watch or buds

      I think it's a stock issue and not something with the coupons

        • After all the codes I think it came to $1056 maybe.
          Each time you put a code it all the prices change so was hard to work out where the price was coming off as I had a watch in the order.

      $800 trade in is from an email if you had a Samsung account at the time (maybe you also needed to be subscribed to the newsletter). The 10% loyalty code is from emailing [email protected] and telling them that you are a loyal Samsung user and want to buy an S23 Ultra, they will give you a call and ask you some questions before giving you the code.

          $800 was sent about 2 weeks ago - you would have had to be subscribed at the time. If you were subscribed then try checking your junk mail for an email from Samsung around 14th-16th March.

  • just had a chat with online samsung, they mentioned 100$ loyalty voucher is not available for s23 ultra. Not sure how others are getting. they offered 100$ voucher for s22 ultra and mentioned that it will not work for purchasing s23 ultra.

    My order status just got changed to 'on the way'. Didn't use the $100 or $50 vouchers (they weren't working for me).

    512gb green ordered 21st.

    • What other items have you placed in the same order? Mine was also ordered on the 21st but I was told the estimation of the shipment is 04/04 due to extreme backlog.

        I also ordered a green 512GB, didn't use the $100 or the $50 either, except I had a Buds 2 and a case in the order.

        Yeah was awaiting dispatch at 10am and changed at around midday. No tracking info provided so far.

  • I am trying to complete the Trade up process on my S21U right now, and the app has issues clicking on my address, when it pops up.
    ANyone else ace this issue and know a solution ?

    I have already run the app a few times after clearing app memory, restarting the device and uninstall/install the of the app on the phone.
