All these smart locks have the same dumb problem - no key required to escape.
A hardwired electric strike with smart bluetooth/geolocating function is the better option, for hands free entry.who are you trying to keep locked in? what if there's a fire?
The burglar that has entered through a window & wants to leave with your 85 inch tv
thsoe are some wide arms
@belongsinforums: Those are some remote odds compared to burglary - fire while you're inside, with no key left in door
@Boogerman: never heard of the wet bandits?
This isn't 1990. Crims don't go for large screen TVs. There's also something called home and contents insurance. Not much to save you if there's a fire and you're deadbolted inside
Are any of your other doors locked with a key and hidden every night?
Yep
Eufy is bad but probably ok if you're already a Medibank or Optus or LastPass customer
I wish the camera was worth the$400 on top of their normal$250 smart lock on sale
Been waiting for a price drop on this. Will be replacing Samsung lock and Ring doorbell both 4+ years old…back when digital locks and doorbells weren't mainstream yet.
Looks like Amazon has price matched for $639 20% off - Eufy Security Video Smart Lock Black https://amzn.asia/d/5VT6UUa
