Good find. Looks like it's available for this price at all stores. Powerpass showing as $38 too

    • How do you see that it is available for this price at all stores?

      • +1

On the powerpass app. It says retail $40, powerpass holders $38

        • ty so much, never knew bunnings had such an app!

You can update the title as it is available nationwide

  • Hi OP, can you please measure the step ladder height from floor to the large platform when it is set up?

    • +1

i assume you want measurements because it's a good bargain?
i'll get them when i'm at home later on eh

      • Thank you so much. I'm looking for a step ladder that can extend my vertical reach by at minimum 50cm but preferably ~60cm to 80cm.

These details are hard to find unless I physically go into the store and measure. Even then it is difficult as the ladders are packaged up.

hmm.. it seems you'll require a 3-step. this one elevates 45cm off the ground.

(I think about 190mm is the highest a single step can be, due to regulations)

          • @jinkerjinx: Thank you so much, I'll look at the 3 step ladders!

          • +1

@jinkerjinx: p.s obviously i'm incorrect about the 190mm thing.. think that's a stair regulation.. not a ladder thing.

btw: the negger on this deal has a link to a step that can do 50cm off the ground.. looks a bit dubious to me.. depends on how often/what your use would be.. but may suit you.

  • Is there a 4 step version?

Been a while since i stepped on a stool, awful…

  • Got excited thougjt it was a real ladder.

Was $20 at Harrisdale but no stock left.

  • This one is $42 if you want 3 steps. It's steel though.

Looks very similar to my old black and grey one that I leant to somebody and never got back.

    $36 at Melbourne Office Supplies

$39 gets you a 150kg one at SedyOnline (if you're in Vic).

    No deal.

    • errr you're comparing apples with.. um.. plastic apples or something.

the $36 thing has what.. plastic/thin steel steps.. I've bent many of these.

the $40 thing doesn't have platform steps or the padded carry/steadying arm.
looks like a pain to unfold/position.. compared to the bailey.
(it says it's top step is the same width as the short-end of a piece of A4.. and half a meter off the ground.. you wanna send your mumma up that?)

the $36 thing has what.. plastic/thin steel steps.

It says aluminium. And the steps indeed look like plastic. But plastic can be strong, no?

the $40 thing doesn't have platform steps or the padded carry/steadying arm.

Do you need them? I don't.

looks like a pain to unfold/position.. compared to the bailey.

        Does it? Not to me.

you wanna send your mumma up that?

Oh, it's for your mumma! Well, in that case: do you wanna send your mumma up any ladder? I don't.

      • Why do people always have mum remarks at the end of a comment when they are being criticised.

It’s just someone’s opinion, don’t need to be so defensive online about a post.

        • unsure if you are talking about me/both of us.

my point was that the product he bases his neg on, is inherently less safe than the one i posted.
i wasn't trying to make a 'yo mumma' joke :)
