BPA free stainless steel water bottles seem to be popular on ozbargain so heres one on special at BigW.

Save $2.96, if you spend over $50, shipping is free otherwise $8 to east cost capital cities. The shipping kinda kills the deal so it is only really good if you are buying other stuff… stock up on kilometrico pens?

The water bottle holds 750ml, is stainless steel and bpa free. It made by Sistema, a pretty reputable NZ company of storage containers so if they say it is BPA free so you can trust them as much as any other NZer. The container also has the Australian flag printed on it which may or may not save you from being bashed on Australia day.

    Yep only really good if you are buying other stuff. and judging by the past popularity of bpa free water bottles on ozbargain the instore price isn't much different from those online stores but you can be pretty sure these are bpa free like bigw + sistema says they are.

    I can recall too but I can't find that deal now, there was a online store selling some big name brand bpa free water bottles on ozbargain and heaps of people bought it. Later on, someone wrote to the manufacturer to ask if the bottles were real and the manufacturer said they weren't.

  Has anyone ever used a steel water bottle? It's actually a terrible idea, as you are unable to squeeze the bottle to apply pressure and make the water move…

  Would not recommend for gym users, unless you want to stand there like a calf suckling off your mothers nipple for 12 minutes, just to get a mouth full.

  You realise BPA is an ingredient used to synthesise (some) plastics?
  I'm confident that any Aluminium/Steel bottle will be Bisphenol A free because, by definition, it's plastic free!
