  • The best rum I have tasted. That 2 for $103 deal was amazing bang for buck and I don't imagine likely to be repeated.

You're going to hell for your crimes.

This one has way too much sugar added.

    • What are you talking about?

It’s definitely on the sweet side, best treated as a fortified wine like a muscat rather than a traditional rum. Perfect for rum-based deserts or ice cream though.

For anybody who might be thinking “Hmm, I might try this as my first rum seeing as people are saying that it’s sweet” or something similar, you can safely disregard the notion that this rum is anything like fortified wine. It is run with a relatively larger amount of sugar added (Purists prefer that none at all is added) It is still very much rum, but arguably one that “cheats” a bit.

      • Yeah… bought a bottle without knowing how much sugar is added, tastes like a rum liqueur to me. That being said, I pour it over vanilla ice cream and it's quite nice :)

Simply the best. Way too easy to forget your troubles with 6-7 shots of this after a long day

      • A nice sentiment, expressed cruelly.
