Trek also have a sale on today. You can get a Roscoe 7 for $1999

  • btw, no dropper post compatibility and the wheels aren't tubeless compatible.

while the wheels can be upgraded later, the frame can't…

    • Are people riding HTs using dropper posts (outside of perhaps elite level and they're not riding this bike anyway) ?

      • Well, i had a hardtail back then and wished that I had a dropper. I ended up upgrading to a dually in the end that already came with a dropper anyway…

Heck even gravel bikes have dropper posta these days…

I don't know anything about this specific bike but I recently bought a different bike from this story and was very impressed. I ordered on Sunday and it arrived Tuesday. Assembly was straightforward and it was packed very well. Great customer support pre and post purchase.

  • Is Polygon a good brand?

    • Yes.

good brand, it's Indonesian brand but comes from the same factory as some of the bigger names…

more on the budget side compared to the bigger brands like Giant, Trek, Canyon etc

not as popular as the bigger brands due to not much sponsorship, no race team, etc.

      • Thanks! Sounds like good value for money.

not as popular as the bigger brands due to not much sponsorship, no race team, etc.

They do in the EWS not with UCI world though ? I don't know for sure though I am sure I saw some mention of them ? I was hoping to be a the EWS rounds at Maydena or Derby alas, looks like my timing sucks.

        • Ah really? Maybe they are indeed starting to get there… I've seen them sponsoring some MTB athletes as well…

          • @meong: Tracey Hannah won the downhill world cup overall riding a Polygon a few years ago, but they've since stopped selling DH bikes.
