I needed new TV for our bedroom. Ended up getting this one from DS. Oh and I got one of the 750GB HDD's as well :) Looks like a good deal to me. Better response ratio than Kogan's 32" Full HD 1920x1080, USB input, no PVR. Does the job for me. Cheers.

pretty nice, hows the picture quality?
I bought one a little while ago (see: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/73251). And it's quite decent. Only complaint is the vertical viewing angles are quite bad, so unless you tilt the tv it has to be at eye level.
Yep, bought one of these for $298 back at Christmas. Great unit, highly recommended.
great price
very very tempted to buy….. I was intending to get the 31.5" soniq from jb for $229
see hereNow Im not sure which one to get….. arrrrrrrr
This one is Full-HD 1080p, the Soniq isn't. Up to you whether this is worth the $69 extra but for me it definitely is (was) because it allows for even more flexibility as nice big computer monitor… plus Full-HD Movies and Games obviously look absolutely perfect too.
I just got one of my friends to replace their 51cm CRT TV with one of these this morning and they love it already. Thanks OP!
Definitely agree that the FHD 1080p is a major +
Have either you or your friend connected a PS3 or xbox to it? If so how did it look?
I did read a comment (in another forum) that the DSE GE6800 had some problems when they connected up their ps3…. it might have been a dud or a glitch though
Well, after some testing, here is my personal opinion:
1080 Full HD: Definitely a must
Sound Quality: Average
Display Quality: Surprisingly quite good
Noise Reduction Features: 3D Comb Filter on chip is "Dumb" Temporal with De-Blocking that applies either too much or not enough
Picture Settings: Quite Good
Design: Minimalistic, Clean Lines, No Cheap Feel
Remote: Great Touch Response
Inputs: Great Variety, Includes HDMI inOverall, I would give it 4.5 out 5 stars
On a side note, it is just plain disgusting that Australian Broadcasting Networks apply stupid compression ratios on almost all channels in order to save/meet bandwidth limitations. 576i these days just doesn't cut it. Also, don't forget that some channels are available in 1080i but at a very low bitrate. I just pray for them to get rid of the stupid Tandberg Realtime encoders and move on to advanced x264. Oh well, one day maybe …
It shows as $348 now.
Not bad. Google cache shows $348 as the usual price.
