Yep, I've done away with these types of flash drives. With all the spare m.2 nvme 128 and 256GB drives I'd had lying around I recently bought USB-C 10Gb/s enclosures for them.
Now 4Gb is roughly 4sec. Life is wonderful. The sizes are great but the speed hell yes….
I would spend time reading the user reviews, typically when a brand does not list write speeds thats a strong warning to avoid them(especially if you want to transfer 200GB+ on one).
Various comments about this SKU getting hot to the touch when transferring files and it slowing down as it gets hotter, write speeds ~25-30MB\sec etc so to fill the device you are looking at 2+ hours if thats correct.
For high capacity USB sticks spend 2x more and get one that will do great write speeds or go for an external m2 ssd enclosure etc.

The "SanDisk SDCZ48-256G-U46 256GB Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive - Black" is selling for $33.33.
'Its writing speed is very poor at 15MB/s, which is perhaps why Sandisk doesn't advertise its writing performance.' From amazon review. I wouldn't consider buying this.
Now available at $35.09
I bought the 512Gb version of this. If you think it's a quick way to backup files from your phone, you would be wrong (unless you want to leave it plugged in overnight!). I have a 512Gb S10 and thought this would be great…
Admitedly the S10 I used is getting on a bit, so hopefully newer phones have faster transfer speeds.
