you don't understand the OXO cereal holder keeps cereal fresher than the cardboard boxes they come in by 700% you cant put a price on that but they tried and its $54

      • yeah this easily pays for itself in a currency called satisfaction

        • but it sure helps to get it for $13 delivered via eBay…

        • like the idea of something better better than my sistemaceral container, this unit is 2.3l which isn’t much ….seems they also do a 4 litre …2 litre might be ok for muesli but not large packet of cornflakes etc. might get this deal and see how well it works bought small on ebay from letters and med and large on amazon as peters don’t seem to list those ….let see how good they are ….

      • Does your cereal go off and how quickly? How long do you keep open cereal?
Might be the environment but in Canberra just rolling the greaseproof inner will do the job on cereal I buy. I do also use far cheaper plastic containers for mixes I concoct from bought cereals, and they work about the same. I've had bread go mouldy in the pantry during hot and humid periods (rye and grain in particular) but never has the cereal been affected, or less fresh that I've noticed.

        • for me it’s not cereal goes off, i don’t eat cereal daily, so sometimes get weavers or some other tiny bug in muesli… my sistema which as was $9 on special sometimes lid doesn’t seal and sometimes pops open

          • @garage sale: Weevils? Fair enough. We used to get the tiny brown (Odorous House??) ants which could find their way into almost anything.

    • It's makes it easier for me as when I order my cereal and the postman just pours it into the mailbox.

  • Save another 5% via their ebay store

    • ebay store at peters …is sold out of medium and large but amazon has those for under $20 …

$13 with express delivery via Peter of Kensington store if you have ebay plus and a spare plus $5 voucher.

    • I got this with a bunch of other OXO stuff from their eBay store a while ago. Not a bad container at all. Better than the stuff you get at Colesworth.

You can pick up Sistema or Decor cereal containers on Amazon a heck of a lot cheaper. Virtually three for this price

    • Sistema and Decor quality is pretty trash compared to OXO though

    • sismtema cereal container the lid doesn’t close very tight ,,, open pops open …or mice have worked out how to open.

Same price if you have Amazon Prime - https://amzn.asia/d/1K8eDxC

Good reviews but don't understand the point of this for cereal, surely if you roll up the bag inside the box (eliminating most of the air), then your cereal will stay fresher.

    What am I missing?

    It's overpriced :(

  • I want an engine in it for that price.
