$16 seems to be a good deal for some of these titles. Check if your local store has the game in stock as you can definitely pick up in store to avoid the delivery charge.

IMO… If you have played any other Assassins Creed then you have played Revelations. I didn't find anything in there that kept me engaged/motivated to finish it. Its collecting dust somewhere now…
Maybe a good buy at $16 but the game itself is nothing special.
I tried the first one but it just didn't click with me. Maybe I'll give this one a pass since I still have a ton of other games to play anyway. Thanks for chiming in :)
Don't let the first one put you off. I found it to be one of the most boring games I've ever played, but assassins creed 2 is amazing. If you want to play an AC game, make it 2 :)

its worth a play through definately, dont believe the hype, its ending is a bit bullshit
Depends on how much $16 is worth to you.. Rage is ok, just another bland shooter that brings nothing new or exciting to the table.. Just don't expect to be blown away..
I played first quest/section whatever you call it, and traded it in next day.
Texture pop is bloody annoying.

Good deal. Might be worth mentioning in the OP that the new (lower) prices show up in the cart, even if the website shows the old price. And store pick-up was definitely an option for Uncharted 3 and I'd assume the others. Thanks for the tip!

Nabbed Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3 and Saints Row: The Third. A very awesome deal, I'm glad I logged on literally two minutes before the sale started while in my lecture, grabbed three very great deals. :)
Harvey Norman's upped their game lately; this combined with their GPS sale for $48 a few weeks back, and that gaming sale back in April have made them the only local place I get my games now (the rest from Ozgameshop or Zavvi).

not really, its worth it if you need a new game, but there is a good chance you'll lose interest at some point

I for one have boycotted their online division after it taking over 2 weeks for a refund.
If you go-instore and the game is there, hand over your cash and take the goods - all fine
But since they charge you up front for online order, i'm steering clear

FYI, if you are purchasing 2 games for pick up and one is currently out of stock, you will be informed your pick-up is ready once both are in stock. so make 2 seperate transactions if you want one now.

I'll bet it wasn't for XBox 360, though ;) I highly doubt that my PC will run the PC version of Rage at anything approaching playable quality. Also, I now own a copy of the game that can't be taken away from me arbitrarily, over the Internet. Sure, it's not likely, but it's something that matters to me.

I haven't received anything in my e-mail. Since I paid via PayPal, I've got that as a receipt as well as the order confirmation page from the Harvey Norman site.
same, I only got the receipt email from paypal, but none from HN.
In my case, it took 26 minutes after the PayPal confirmation email for the HN confirmation email to arrive.
Servers are probably getting hammered due to the massive influx of orders.
I received my email about 10 mins after the order.
Good price; grabbed uncharted3.
Now… to find the cheapeast way to grab uncharted 1 and 2…

Definitely mate, but I reckon you should play them in order. I just finished 1 & 2 and there's a reason why they're considered one of the best of the PS3 exclusive franchises.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is the harder of the two to come by, I have no idea why, but I got a good condition copy on Ebay for about $25. I also got Uncharted 2 with my PS3 bundle for free.
I recommend ozgameshop if you don't find any cheap local sellers/traders. :)

Cool. Thanks! I just called Hardly Normal at Broadway. They had had 5 BF3 in stock, but told me I couldn't actually go to the store and pick it up. I had to purchase online and then pick up. Also, as they only had 5 and probably had more orders in the system than stock, it might be a little while until I could get it.

Don't worry about ACR…these HN games will likely be UK copies, and your Zavvi order will probably arrive quicker than HN ;)
I'm curious why people are complaining about getting EU/UK stock? If it's in stock/at the store at the time and you get it then what's the issue? Pretty sure games are the same wherever you buy them from barring censorship (german/australian editions) and language barriers (asian market)
I guess it only matters if u plan to trade the games in. For $16 u might as well keep it, use it as a coaster or something!

Finally got Uncharted 3 PS3 in my cart and got the paypal payment through. Add that to the Saints Row The Third PS3 and Assassin's Creed Revelations PS3 that i've already ordered it makes a sweet deal. Lucky my local HN store has all three games in stock. Now awaiting store pickup confirmation.

Battlefield 3 is a really good buy at $16. Pity i already bought the BF3 limited edition PS3 from JB Hi-Fi for $44 recently. Oh well.

With all this traffic, I would imagine it would be a few weeks before any of us see any games. I would recommend paying with PayPal. If you don't get your game, just lodge a complaint a for a refund.

I don't think you've got much chance of picking up before 5:30pm today. I ordered Assassin's Creed Revelations and Saints Row the Third PS3 around 3pm AEST and still waiting pickup confirmation.
