Thanks for the advice, puts weigh in my thoughts
Can't believe they had it retailed for 119 RRP. At least put a realistic value. :S
Lol 40-50 rrp elsewhere
Yeah, just quoting the website, but still significantly cheaper than say, Amazon with free shipping.
I would say to take the RRP with a grain of salt …. you could even weigh it!

That's not what RRP (Recommended Retail Price) means.
Nabbed one, thanks, been looking for a new kitchen scale. Got $5 off via ebay plus, with postage came to $33.
Quick search showed available for $52.78 from amazon so this a good price. $119 is inflated, wow.
Can't seem to apply the $5 voucher, it's not coming up as an ebay plus item for me? Weird.

Was this the correct eBay listing?
Yup, correct listing. You might have already used your voucher…"eBay Plus members get AU $5.00 off* every month on purchases of AU $15 or more."
When i visit the link, it does say "The listing below has been updated by the seller, but you can see the item you purchased.". I only bought 20 mins ago, so maybe delisted as a plus item?
postage on ebay coming up as $28 with plus
@jamba: Maybe its location dependant. Mine was $9 for postage.
Might I remind everybody that you can get USB rechargeable scales now - no more searching for obscure batteries for a device that may sit seldom used in many households
But eneloops
searching for obscure batteries
2 x AAA batteries are obscure?
I did not enjoy paying that postage but I’ve needed a new scale for a while and this one looks decent, thanks OP
Both the 5k and 500g scales have a 'resolution' of 1 gram. You will literally get the same result on both scales - what is the point of the 500g scale then? Seems pretty redundant to me.
No, it says the 500g part has a resolution of 0.01g.
Where its says 1g is probably a typo as it wouldn't make any sense.
The thing I'd want to know is what is the minimum measurement on the 500g part. Some other scales say it has to be a few gm minimum, which sort of sux.
yeah, this is often the case with scales, a minimum mass required to register the reading which is much more than the minimum resolution - if things need real accuracy I can drop into work and use our precision balance (0.1 mg)
Scale, $29. Shipping to WA, $28.
For around $33 can get one from Aliexpress, either rechargeable or 3xAAA.
Really? They used lemons in the marketing? I'll take it with that other stuff, possibly a grain of salt.
