    Amazon reviews are so entertaining.

A lot of things seem to stick

How can you not know cooking on stainless steel is slightly more sticky than cooking on super glue?!

    • Yes, just like a wok you need to season it.

      • Say what? Stainless steel seasoning?

      • First I've ever heard of seasoning stainless steel. I've used them at home for years
Always pre-heat before adding oil, you can check if its good by flicking a teeny bit of water on it until it bubbles and bounces around. Then add oil, wait for it to shimmer and start cooking.
Also don't need to use as much heat as you would with other metals.

        • Certainly can do that, seasoning just makes it non-stick and you don't need to use as much oil.

    • Actually with heat, good quality SS and fat, cooking on stainless doesn't need to be glue.
I make my french omlet's on a 16cm Chasseur stainless steel frypan.

Bought the same set from kitchen warehouse deal back in 2015. Good quality and it’s still going good. However, we have moved over to cast iron pans so don’t use the frypan (not a big fan anyway). Apart from the fry pan every thing else is of great quality and highly recommended!

Was never $1199, around $400s is normal price

As low as $279 in 2014

  • Price is $399 now.

  • I bought the 3 pc smaller pot set a few years ago to replace our non stick ones, these are much better as long as you don’t expect to leave them on a high heat for hours with stirring.

Wish I had known about this set, though we use cast iron pans anyway
