I remember when Massdrop actually had good toys to buy and no GST (and stronger dollar). Shipping wasn't even that expensive.
I almost bought a couple pairs of headphones and the USB-C to 3.5mm DAC thing, but once I got to checkout, I clicked back and cleared the cart. Seems like all they make these days are keycaps.
haven't kept with the times and was excited to see if they had any cool folding blades or multitools (edc) to buy, only to find out all they sell now is mech kbs and headphones…sad!
They had great camping stuff and multitools - I think I bought a tent from them at about half what it would've cost here.
I remember buying great full grain leather wallets, a belt, a Japanese grooming set, interesting watches and good amps and dacs as well as headphones and iems. Now it's the same shit over and over. You read the reviews and QC has dropped. I still haven't fixed my Focal Elex which has a very common loose wire issue.
The team that used to curate the outdoor/camping/sporting goods left and made their own company I believe.
And there was a change of focus to their own brands/manufacturing which for me at least was the wrong direction.
A lot of their products were already close to OEM and Monoprice, and then they basically became a rebrander.

If you don't know of anything you want, you don't need to buy anything. Not spending any money at all is the best bargain.

@xrailgun: They will be probably be fine for basic PC use.
Keep in mind one of the images shows, the bottom larger speaker is a passive radiator (no electrical connection) and the top speaker is the actual powered speaker. So it's just 2 speakers total, not 4.
