Decent price for this pressure washer ($859 RRP). Also available from super cheap auto at the same price. I have this unit and very happy with it. Plenty of power for large paving jobs and hose isn’t annoying like many units. It will pull chrome off a truck if you’re not careful. Only complaint is the unit is a little on the heavy side. 7 year warranty. K5 also available for $519.

    That would have been a good deal!

    Looking at the reviews over various sites they seem like the majority are good? With metal pump, made in Germany, and the 5 year warranty I wouldn’t worry too much. Mine has been perfect.

    One thing that I do, that might be unusual, is I run the motor dry after use so it’s not sitting for weeks with water in it. (Manual says you can do this (run motor for short periods <10s) usually to prepare for icing conditions).

    I also use a stubby gun / mjjc pro foam cannon for car cleaning work, and it covers the car like it’s shaving cream. Hose is long and manoeuvrable enough so I don’t need to move the pressure unit.

    When originally shopping for one, I spoke to our Karcher dealer who said the compact was a limited run, but proved more popular than the main units so they re-released them.

    Ebay had a boxing day $50 discount on top of the SCA Ebay discounted listing.
    I was tempted to get it at $586 plus $6.95 delivery fee.
