    Holdup. Free pizza??? When?

    • deal says 4pm -10 pm AEDT

      • +1

        It was edited

        • deal changed again ? 5pm-10 pm now ??

    • I presume what it means is the same 50% but a higher cap of $20

  • Is pizza hut cap per account or per transaction?

    • @gotyourback

Can I preorder for Tuesday BOGOF?

    • Me and Mrs Mrbenj always have …
(I'm assuming this will be nothing different)
There's nothing like the feeling of walking into our building holding four pizzas (two each) knowing that weve paid about $2.50 for each Pizzas…

In fact, I'm disappointed with any Ozbargainer that DOESN'T BOGOF @ 50% !!!

      • +7

And I should add Tuesday is Valentine's day …
Mrs Mrbenj has said "save me money, that's romance !!!"

        • +1

          Hahaha that's gold.

          • @Alley Cat: Well the brilliant news was the pizzas from Pizza Hut were disappointing (but there was a crazy reason which was resolved) …

The reason .. the Pizza Hut ran out of CHEESE !!! What Pizza Place runs out of CHEESE !!!

Yes, the Pizzas we brought home were terrible. Don't make Pizzas without Cheese. They burn.

So we rang the store, they apologised and we were able to revisit the following day and pick up four more PIZZAs !!! That's eight Pizzas .. for a Total of … (using just the Shopback offer) ..
$2 each … (We brought them to my family's house for dinner with the family, and young nephews).

And the terrible ones were terrible Pizzas but okay things on Pizza dough, with meat, chicken, bacon, etc …

The moral here is .. If you're Food that you pick up ain't good, call the store, be great with them, tell them the issue and request another meal …
The other moral is don't write to Cash Rewards saying where is my Cashback .. when the Cashback was from Shopback. (Amateur mistake!! Sorry Cashback :) )

            • +1

@mrbenj: lol I only feel bad for CR hahaha Why would they even give you the pizzas when they had no cheese is truly beyond me. It's like selling you a car but without the steering wheel.

I feel sick thinking about pizza hut now anyway after this deal. Won't go back for a while.

    • +1

hoping to have that clarified as well. Usually you can, but they always state that in the terms, and it hasn't been mentioned here. Gotyourback is off atm, so it is someone else that would answer

  • +3

Also, 20% bonus westpac cashback on menulog.

  • +1

How to get Westpac account and what type of account do you suggest?

    • +6

Sign up for their choice account that comes with a debitcard. Instant approval and you can generate your virtual card within minutes of being approved. No need to wait for the physical card to arrive.

Do note that there is a $5 monthly account keeping fee for Choice account. It is waived if you make a 2K monthly deposit though. You just need to deposit 2K, you don't have to maintain a balance, so you could just deposit and withdraw it immediately.

      • so you could just deposit and withdraw it immediately.

Then transfer out to your HSBC account. Just schedule it.

        • +7

pretty much. Well I have my 2K doing a bit of a longer lap. Starts from Ubank -> VM -> Westpac -> HSBC -> ING -> Ubank

          • @nokia3660: VM? Is that short for Virgin Money?

            • +2

              @Cousin IT: yea, that's correct.

              • +3

@nokia3660: Thanks. Funny the amount of accounts you accure, chasing bargains and perks😅

                • +1

@Cousin IT: haha true that. These are the one's that are currently active. I have a whole bunch of dormant accounts and cards that came with them collecting dust in a corner.

          • @nokia3660: Nice @nokia3660. Is that automated ?
How did you set it up to ensure the money is already in the account before it t/out to other bank? Eg. Do you set up transfer the following day? Has it ever failed?

            • +1

@11CENTS: not automated mate, just keep a to-do list and tick off each transfer. Most of them are on osko so I cover almost all of them in a 10min span except HSBC I guess, which takes a while to send the money out.

          • @nokia3660: Haha thats impressive, keen to hear how you set it up (how many days it takes to clear) and if its all automated with scheduled transfers

            • +1

@No Child Support: nah mate, I just have a to do list and just tick off each item manually. Usually with most of the banks the transfer is pretty much immediate so find it easy to finish it off in a single go. I think HSBC does take a while to transfer though.

      • close the account every month and open a new one the following month 😀

      • How does one transfer cash into the account quickly though? … I already have payID with another account, and even if I could transfer it to this one, then I wouldn't have a different payID account to send from …

        • your normal bsb/account transfer would be instantaneous if the bank uses osko for the transfers.

        • You are confusing PayID with Osko transfers.

Can someone confirm if this means $40 worth of pizza for free (since the westpac cap is $20)?
Also BG's note says multiple transactions are allowed unless it’s specified it’s capped per member. So unlimited $40 orders? or does the pizza hut 50% limited one per member?
Also is there no cap for the 50% from pizza hut? So many questions… Surely there is a fine print we are missing here.

    • Well now it says $10 cap on the standard pizza hut, so not anymore.

      • haha.. I would have been really surprised if they didn't impose a cap.

    • +6

      Isn’t it $40 worth for $10 ?
Because Westpac is 50% which is capped at $20 therefore $40 to maximise the cap
And the other cashback upsize has a cap of $10

  • +13

Getting sick of these westpac deals because I know they'll dry up the second I open an account.

    • +3

      Like ANZ with Cashrewards

      • +12

To be fair, ANZ deals weren't even close to these westpac deals in terms of value.

        • +1

Yeah for sure I just mean they will probably shut it down like ANZ did

          • +1

@SaintSteve: gotcha.. more the reason to jump in immediately ;)

I too was apprehensive initially and took the plunge only when they did the no limit $20 cap chemist warehouse deal.

    • If you can't beat 'em, join them :)

    • +2

no one is stopping you opening an account right now,

And Westpac is good since you get instant digital card to use, + PAYID for instant payment to your bank account too

      • Which westpac cards are eligible for these offers? I'm sure I could google it but Im feeling lazy right now :/

        • Sign up for their choice account that comes with a debitcard.

    • Don't open an account so the rest of us can milk it.

    • I just got myself a new Westpac CC last week and consider myself a bit late to the party. I think the deals have started getting less and less frequent/attractive compared to the beginning of this year. Also not to mention their processing time was terrible. Took them a week to respond after I provided the doc they had asked for.

    • Not sure why but for me all westpac purchase bonuses are getting rejected even after the store bonus is approved or pending. Not using codes etc, just plain purchase.
The gift card purchase one are going thru.
Still waiting for ShopBack to respond back on this.

  • Alright, I am way too sleepy now. Can someone please workout the minimum amount I need to spend with Pizzahut to fully utilize the 50% from both Pizzahut and westpac? Is it pay $10 and get $40 worth?

    • +12

      $20 for Free or $40 for $10

  • can you use promo codes and still qualify for shopback like cashrewards?

    • Unless something has changed, pizzahut have always qualified for cashback with promo codes in SB

    • You can see many codes listed on the deal tab once you click through to Pizza Hut. If they are listed there for sure it’s ok

  • +1

Large Pizza, 6 Wings and a Coke for $19.95 looks good to me for 100% Cashback

  • Can use coupons with pizza hut? Cause I don't see anywhere that says you can't

    • +1

yes, any official Pizza Hut coupon codes should be ok

  • -1

Great deal for Menulog for those that also have cashback from 28 Degrees! I

    • I think you get the bonus by paying with westpac cards.

      • Sammysamsam was referring to Menulog…the Westpac bonus is for Pizza Hut.

        • +1

Seems like all 3 are Westpac bonus? The upsized %s only come up under the Westpac banner.

          • @tajid: Ah sorry the op only wrote the westpac bonus under the pizza hut link..got me confused

    • +1

I used my 28 degrees cashback a few days ago for a pick up order. Something to note from Shopback -

Cashback is only eligible for delivery orders

  • +1

so, I can do two orders on the 2 for 1 Tuesday and get it all for $0? (each order being around $16, ordering after 4pm and using Westpac CC)….as it doesn't mention a cap per member for Pizza Hut

    • 50% cash back, so you can never get it for $0.

      • I have a Westpac Card as well so will get 50% cashback with that too…so, say a pizza costs $16 (or 2 for 1 on Tues) , I get $8 through normal upsized Shopback and another $8 through Westpac…cost to me $0 once I get both cashback amounts

        • ahh thanks for the clarification. Might need to a rep to confirm that is how it works since there has never been a a cashback like this before.

          • @CodeXD: there have been plenty of doubled upsizes with Westpac, it just gets tracked with both cashback amounts separately

        • you would have to spend probably a dollar or so in gst though

          • +1

@nokia3660: ?? Never had that happen with the cashbacks on Pizza Hut…if there is a 100% cashback deal, you get the up to the full $10 (depending if you spend over $10, obv then you would get less) Not sure why you keep mentioning GST as there is nothing in terms and info that says GST isn't included

            • @souths123: oh really. I just went with the standard cashback terms with ShopBack where the cashback is always excluding GST. May be it is not the case with PizzaHut then. Good to know, thanks for correcting.

              • +1

@nokia3660: each one is different, some are excluding GST, some aren't. Just check terms and other info for each when using.

    • +2

I also want to know if preorder works. Normally it does with Cashrewards but not sure about Shopback X Westpac

      • in the terms atm (with 14% cashback) it says preorder is good to go, so I would assume it will be the same after 4pm for the upsize

        • Ah ok. In that case I will check again at 4pm to see if the T&C is updated

  • Are the caps per order or per shopback account? Can you do multiple preorders for a later date using same shopback ac and linked westpac card?

    • it doesn't specify cap per SB account, so yes, it should work

  • +2

Hopefully CR can do a 100% CB deal again.

  • If I pay $20 with my Westpac card, then it will be free?

    • Not exactly. The cashback is excluding gst so you would still be out by a couple of bucks

      • +2

can't see anyway GST is excluded in cashback for Pizza Hut

  • +1

For Uber eats, anyone know if I can pay using uber credit in my account and get the cashback or do I have to pay using westpac card?

  • +2

Can anybody confirm if you can do multiple transactions, to get both the upsize and westpac upsize bonus ?

  • -1

They jacked up the price. Not worth it.

    • +1

      Who is they?

Pizza Hut? Uber Eats? Menulog? I reckon most of the + votes is purely for PH haha

  • -4

Step by step instructions? Also can you do it for on 2 4 Tuesdays ?

Alright, I am way too sleepy now. Can someone please workout the minimum amount I need to spend with Pizzahut to fully utilize the 50% from both Pizzahut and westpac? Is it pay $10 and get $40 worth? Can we use 30% off code ?

  • how's the markup on UE/ML ?

    • Not enough to stop them from bleeding money

  • -2

As usual it’s like 21 questions to understand the deal >.>
Would also like to know if we can do multiple times please >.>

  • +1

so they changed the start time to 5pm aedt ?
lucky i checked was about the place an order now.

    • yes, I went to place an order through the SB app and wondered why still showing 20%, then when I went to the website it said 5pm….

  • +3

So technically we can order as many $20 orders as we want (multiple transactions). And it will all be 100% (50+50) cashback yeah?

@gotyourback can you clarify the caps if any ??

Is it only westpac one (per transaction or per account??)

    • If they haven’t changed the terms to include if it is per user in the last few months then yeh

    • think so but not sure

    • Dying to knoooooooow

    • +2

GYB is off this week, not sure if the person filling in will see this
He has said in the past if it doesn't stipulate per customer or per account it is good for multiple purchases…I have just done three…1 pizza for today and two for 2 for 1 Tuesday (so, 4 pizzas)….so, finger's crossed it works out. Not tracking yet…also the code 30% on the website is incorrect. Use HUT5130, that seems to work…any genuine Pizza Hut code is valid for cashback.

      • Can you confirm your order tracked using codes outside what is listed on Shopback?

        • +2

they tracked, but using a code that isn't valid for cashback doesn't stop that, it just stops it being paid out. It is a valid Pizza Hut code though, so should be fine….we have been told many times that their codes are ok, even if not listed on the shopback site
