Contains a masking fragrance that is not neutralised?

The picture used in this post is borderline bait and switch though? Using a picture of a well known brand to sell a barely known brand, when you have pictures of the correct product on the link provided…

It's not deliberate by the looks of it.

Rather than linking directly to a product page, they've linked to a category page and added the URL parameters to filter for just the $7.99 items.

The image is setup for the category page in general, and they do sell Meguiars. I wouldn't expect any website to build a solution to provide a different OpenGraph image based on URL parameters (that's how these images are sourced, it's code embedded in the page using OpenGraph metadata).

For the purposes of OzBargain, they probably would've been better off linking the deal to one specific product, and linking to any others in the description, so you'd get an image that matches the deal. But I highly doubt it's a deliberate attempt to mislead (really, anyone clicking on this thinking they're getting $7.99 Meguiars isn't going to end up purchasing anything, so it's of zero benefit to the store).

      • Fair enough.

Not what the image is on the link.

    False advertising

  • The wife's car has a musky smell. And it's quite a new car with no smoker or pets.
Can anyone suggest a remedy to make it smell like a new car?

    • If it's something you transported such as an animal or food products, you could just leave it in the sun and then hit it with Fabreeze.
'Musty" really means moldy, so if something in your car has gone moldy, IE wet carpet you must remove the moldy item or the smell will keep coming back forever

    • new wife?

      • old wife is in the boot?….High five

  • What about glen 20 or similar ??

    • +1

Agreed, if you crank the AC and spray the lemon Glen 20 down the intake it does an amazing job at neutralising the funk.

      • Where is the aircond intake normally?

  • +1

Mine is passenger side adjacent to the hood and windscreen if that makes sense
