Tell them to do their own homework.

  • That donut holster thing I see on Facebook memes is pretty cool. I think Bunnings should invent that. I'd wear it. Keep my donuts clean when I'm not eating them.

  • Another Naplan question?

    Or job interview question?

    • Interview question. Applied to Bunnings years ago and this was on their list of questions.

      • Did you get the job? Or did they need to fulfill their quota of those people that don’t know anything about the products or department they work in?

        • +1

Didn’t get the job, apparently, and I shit you not, I was “overly enthusiastic” at the group interview.

Out of the 8 people that were interviewed, 6 got the job. Two women who didn’t know what the tools were that were bought in as examples/props, both of those women and another woman who said the only reason they wanted the job was for the employee discount. A guy who kept leaving the interview to answer calls, a guy who sat there sending SMS on his phone the whole time and an 80+yo guy who was so hard of hearing, we all had to yell.

“Over qualified and over enthusiastic” was my post interview feedback.

@pegaxs: I guess they met their quota that day…

  • If this is for a uni assignment ,

Bunnings trade section should sell ready to eat or microwave meals.

    would be super useful

      The bcc 😂😂😂😂😂

        Yes Plagiarism at its finest.

I should have put Tempo on there.

  • +2

One I can ask for assistance.

    • Without the indignation and “not my department” undertone? Where you are given the right aisle to look in, not the one 3 rows over?

Or maybe someone in the actual paint department. Or better still, lock ALL the paint behind cages with locks and then don’t put any staff in your biggest section.

  • Electric shovel

  • Ryobi dildo

  • What's a tool you would like to see on the market in bunnings?

    An electric drowig.

  • +1

    Cordless drill with internet connection

  • +1

    24 hour sausage sizzle

  • +1

Rebrand their tools as “Bunnings”, rather than Ozito.

  • +1

Oh yeah, lightweight screwdrivers… nothing like those pesky 80g screwdrivers for making your forearms ache.

    Wearable screw dispenser… aka: “magnet”

Oh, you mean like a battery operated hot glue gun?

Wow, and an adjustable wrench. That’s thinking outside the box. Be great if Bunnings sold them. Be good if someone would invent one to use on pipes… maybe call that one a “pipe wrench”

  • +1

A tool that detects if the bunnings sausage sanga guys have washed their hands after taking a dump.

I was at bunnings Ashfield (Syd) a few months ago, I had just finished my merry #1, when a guy exits a stall, and as I follow him out the exit, he walks into the sausage sandwich cooking tent out the front, HE NEVER WASHED HIS HANDS !!!

  • Glass hammer. I'd also like to see the paint department sell striped paint in addition to the complementary long stand.

  • A robot dog feeder?

    • +1

Wouldn’t that just be a battery charger? What else would you feed a robot dog?

  • +1

A Bunnings Apron, and red shirt, so I can help people.

  • Lightweight tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, still strong)

It’s been done. Light, strong, cheap. Pick any two.

Headlight that attaches to safety glasses

Done. Had a pair until the batteries went flat.

Wearable screw dispenser (could be magnetic, but frees up your hands while you work)

Nail/tool belts have been a thing for 100 years.

A glue gun (can be set down on its sides without leaking, wireless)

Cordless glue guns exist. Not leaking? Sounds good

Adjustable wrench (away with that pesky screw, easily adjustable, holds its size)

All been tried, all equally bad

Power Tool Station (portable charging station, charging bays, built-in storage for accessories)

Would need to be custom to suit different brands and types of tools. Might be OK, but can’t imagine it being cheap or easy to do. Any portable charge station would need a big heavy battery or access to 240v.

Tool customisation (get your business logo on the product)

Not from Bunnings. Not their business.
