[WA] Click Outdoor Antenna Kit $10 (Was $30) @ Bunnings, Cockburn

110

Not sure how many still need one these days but clearance $10 at Bunnings in Cockburn (back of store). Includes 12mt coaxial cable.

They also had Click flat panel indoor antennas for $20, didn't take note if they were amplified or not, would hope so. Can't find any info online for either unfortunately.

North Launceston too, thanks JerryB

Would love to know the story behind naming that town

Only eastern states people pronounce it cock burn. People from Kingdom of Westralia call it Co'burn.

        • +5

People always say that when their suburb has a funny or strange name.

I'm just gonna say it how I see it. Cock-burn.

          • @Kranbone: I mean i get it was named after some navy dudes surname.

But you wonder the origin of said surname.

            Its written as Cock-burn.

If they wanted it pronounced co-burn why not spell it that way? A little easier and a lot less chances of getting ridiculed or bullied yeah?

Now now. Before you sharpen your pitchforks and ready the torches. Or blast this message with negs to oblivion. At least say something about it and lets have a discussion.

Either spell it Coburn, or pronounce it properly. You can't have your cock and burn it too.

Ppl here get annoyed when it's pronounced as it's spelt. Regardless of how much I argue there is no silent CK in English

  • Could you share the Bunnings Item Number from the invoice please

    • I/N: 0371493

  • To me this looks like cheap and low quality crap that will probably rust to bits within a few years.

Cockburn is what happens when you are installing the antenna

    • +2

Well perhaps you should put pants on first before getting up on the roof to install the thing.
