Fractal Design Meshify C TG Clear Tint, $119 + Delivery ($0 MEL/WA C&C) @ PLE Computers

850

Hey guys, first attempt at a deal post. Let me know if anything is out of place. Appears to be the cheapest of the few places that still stock it. The other variations of the Meshify C appear cheaper here too ($139 as opposed to the more standard $169.) Cheers.

Nice case but waiting for the Fractal North TG to restock.

    • ferk that is a sexy case. My dream. If only I could be bothered migrating all my components lol

    • Damn would be keen on it if it had some outer USB-C docks.

    • ETA for mine is 10/2 at PLE warehouse, I preordered 20/12. Hopefully there is enought to go around

Great case, one of my all time favs. But the bigger versions are much better, GPU support is very limited by today's standards, even more so if you add fans/radiator.

Also found even without a radiator, it ran, my at the time Aorus 2080 system, quite hot, creating 2 chambers as it more or less blocked off the bottom half.

This is the old version of the Meshify 2 Compact, so a little outdated (e.g. no USB-C on the front panel). Still, the new model at full price is $100 more, so the savings may have some appeal here. That said, it's modern competition is usually around the $150 mark, so the full price of the new model shouldn't be used as much of an indication of what premium airflow cases should cost.

Have this case, love it. Easy to work with, sexy af, not bothered by lack of usb-c on the front. genuinely cant wait to do a whole PC upgrade in another ~5 years and keep this case going <3

Not fan for this case, never find beauty of Fractal Design cases, also Coolermaster cases

Fractal Design North has been getting good reviews for its classy design but I guess it is indeed subjective

This is a very sweet case! Loads of room, yet not so big it looks empty when fully decked out.

  • How is this compared to the Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Airflow which is currently $109 (34% off) on Amazon? same old case but with 3 pre-installed fans.

  • Nice looking but another case with the I/O panel on top… Surely other people want them on the front somewhere?

  • It's a good case able to fit full size m boards and PSU in a small footprint.

    Here's a build I did a few years ago

    • I've seen a few similar setups with the radiator in front. What's the reason for this?

The fans are pushing the hot air exhaust from the radiator into the case, is that correct? Or are the fans pulling air through the radiator and exhausting out the front of the case?

      • The greatest debate of our era… AIO Radiator on front or top.

        As a general rule
Front mounted rad: lower cpu, but higher gpu thermals
Top mounted rad: higher cpu, but lower gpu thermals

But honestly at the time I didn't care either way and opted for front…..temps have been fine. I might switch around if I do any changes in the future. But I don't think it'll make any huge difference.

      • You intake through the front with a front mounted AIO.

Many cases/memory/boards can also have issues trying to mount up top too.

Ive also had an AIO that can't reach the front too….

  • OoS in Vic by the looks, so free C&C only WA now

  • Nice case but as others have mentioned, USB C is a must have nowadays.
