These are nice and compact with decent speed, though can run hot.
Perfect for a car with mp3 or similar.
Can be annoying to get in and out all the time but this design is better than the smaller one

    • I was a bit concerned about the heat too, but one of them has been plugged into a Roku for several years now, and it hasn't given up yet. It's constantly hot.

Theyre handy, but transferring anything bigger than like 4gb and it overheats and disconnects.

Always have to sit a bag of peas ontop when transferring big files

Was the formatting FAT32 or NTFS ?

  • Really good price.
I want to buy but I already have too many.

    Done Thanks OP

  • Sad to hear these are still suffering from overheating issues. I had the same problem with one of their earlier models from like 5+ years ago.

I've moved over to the Samsung mini drives, they're rock solid.

      They do indeed run hot.

The plastic handle on mine appears to be opaque as opposed to translucent now, because of the thermals.

On the other hand, it hasn't failed (yet), despite being plugged in 24/7 for the better part of a couple years.

  • JB Hifi Live Chat Support: With Amazon, we are only able to price match items shipped and sold by Amazon AU. Usually you can find this information just below the add to cart button on Amazons product pages.

So I gave them this SanDisk Ultra 128GB Dual Drive and they were able to price match it for me - $24.04

    • Used $10 perks
    • Got a $5 JB Hifi gift card from Shopback Gift cards for New Users with 50% cashback offer and paid it using the cashback accumulated overtime
    • Bought another $10 JB Hifi Gift card from Shopback with 2.5% cashback offer.
Applied both gift cards on the payment screen.
    • Used click and collect.
    • Got it for free without having to pay anything from my bank.
      Hope this helps.
  • Got one myself a couple days ago but hadn't seen this OZB post.
