Been eyeing one of these. Not sure which one to get. Probably the cheaper 930 one.

Q930 is now showing as $829 minus $50 discount for PLUSNS23 = $779 (with $60 freight on top is $839 which is still pretty solid).
Q990 is now $1249 minus $100 = $1149.
Any deals on LG soundbars?
Bought an LG TV, didnt realise Samsung and LG soundbars have features exclusive to their respective TVs
I have the q990b paired with LG c1 and in no way have ever thought about needing any of the exclusive features.
Great to know. Looking getting a Q930B to go with my existing C1 and wondered if the LG 'pairing' would be better (something like S90Y).
I have an LG OLED with the 930 and all the features you'd want work perfectly fine.
Sub $1000 is my buy in
It's $788… Go-Go-Go!
Sorry, q930b is not part of my vocabulary. Didn’t even look at it in the title.
I had the 930B price matched at JB from powerlands deal, having tried both I don't believe the 990 is worth the extra spend.
I may be bias as I own the 930 but I agree. A friend went for the 990 and as impressed as I was, I only noticed it with music and the punchier sub - which may not be to everyone's liking anyway. Rtings had them neck and neck.
Q990B is excellent, but only minor upgrade if you already have 930B or 950B.
If you don't have 930B, Q990B would be a good choice. That's what I was reading, too.
I figured 930B was plenty, considering I'm upgrading from a $290 Logitech Z-5500 5.1 from 12 years ago… but the general comment was 990B is noticeably better in most ways, and a small price increase. But that part isn't currently true. It's 50% more, just-shy of $400 difference.
So I'm also torn.
@Ulysses31: Ive the Z-5500, that is awesome value.
@congo: Bonkers value. And that was brand new from store. I doubt there will be anything like it again. Baffles me why they didn’t just put the price up, instead of just killing it off. I understand criticism I read, about “muddy” sound. But I’m sure it can be tuned properly.
Bought another one years later, $150 used. Still kicking.
What price did you match with?
Did you match the $749 price? And was it via phone or in store? Thanks!
It was using their chat service on the website.
This is probably a dumb question, I am new to soundbars. Harvey Norman are trying to sell me the Harmon Kardon Citation soundbar, which they have reduced from $1250 to $700s, is the Harmon Kardon better than these Samsung soundbars? Will be using with my 4K TV Samsung Q70A
Samsung is better
Definitely Samsung, added bonus of wireless connection to tv
It's a no brainer. The 990B is the bees knees
The cats pyjamas
Really is a shame the Q800 is hard to find at a decent price, don't really need/want the rear speakers but the price difference between the Q800 & Q930 is minimal.
Q800 is $699 but better get the q930 i price matched it wiith goodguys
What price did you match?
$788
Before i pickup the bar, would be ok to use it with A80k or should i get a sony one instead?
From what I hear, people said pairing the q930 with other TVs like LG has been fine.
Any Q930b calibration suggestions pls
What’s there to calibrate? Levels is about it.
If you have eBay Plus:
EDIT: Postage cost will vary based on your location.
