Cool youtube channel but I don't think this not a bargain, but happy to be proven wrong.

Saw this at Camera ted's today for around the same price. Not really a bargain. But I love the youtube videos with Kai. Welcome to Ozbargain Digital Rev!

    • Can you advise which Ted's this was at please? Also was that just for the normal 18-135mm (cheaper) or the STM one? I actually just got this kit from Ted's Werribee for $1273 after asking for a price match against CameraPro's priing which was the cheapest that I can see for a local stock.

      • Oh my mistake could be the 18-135mm (cheaper) one which I saw in the display.
This was the Ted's at Adelaide Street in Brisbane.

    • Thought this is a deal as the 18-135mm STM lens kit is showing back order on their website at $1,399.95. Guess they are showing different prices at store. ;) Thanks and will pass the message to Kai!

digitalrev should throw in a free pair of rubber gloves to prevent contamination from this cameras grip.

    • I think that that issue only applies to a portion of stock, and I doubt they would sell any more of the affected stock (which is easily identified with serial number).

60D body only is about $120 more than 650D body only. Lens can be bought for about $300. Worth looking at the 60D.

      • I bought 60D for $848 yesterday at Camerahouse. After pricematched HN, (they had it for $854)
Also I'm leaving Aus within 30 days, I can claim GST back. Which makes it about the same price as grey imports, and plus local warranty.

  • For some reason its $11 cheaper if you buy it off their eBay store.

    • DigitalRev's eBay user feedback is poor. (If you decide to buy from them, go through eBay and pay with PayPal…more protection than buying direct)
I've previously bought cameras from them, but now I avoid them due to poor eBay ratings.
Their camera review videos on YouTube are superb though.

      • It is recommended to purchase via websites to receive full service and local warranty. The prices on website are also inclusive. :)

  • How about you post a better deal then kogan on the 650D Body only ;)

Just remember this is over $1000 and will attract import tax.

Bought off Digital Rev before (100-400mm Canon L) I was happy with the shipping and price.

  • How many days you take to deliver the camera, I am after IXUS 125HS.

    • Please allow one business day in dispatching the order and around 3 to 5 business days delivering to the AU.

  • Anyone wanting to buy this camera should check out the new Sony Alpha A77 first which can be had for around $1000. It is a much better camera packed with features.

  • Welcome to OzB DigitalRev. Long term fan of your work on YouTube - although as yet I have never purchased from you. Decent offers here on OzB may change that I hope…

Does price above include GST? I realise that you are off-shore grey importer in Hong Kong but for some reason I have a memory that you charged GST for items over $1,000 - which would mean that you one of your channels has a ABN??? If no longer thwn did you previously? (Apologies if I have my wires crossed!)

Did you previously use DigitalRev.com.au domain?? I see the domain is currently for sale by a squatter.

    • All items on DigitalRev.com are inclusive prices with import handling and Free Shipping. Therefore, the prices at checkout are the final prices you'll need to pay for your purchases. :)

      The domain is always DigitalRev.com.

      • So your saying If a purchase over $1,000 we won't be up for tax or duty when it comes in? how's that work

        • All import handling charges are handled by us. For details, you may review http://www.digitalrev.com/help/import-handling-for-non-hong/…

        • Ahh I see, so we do have to pay an import duty on it regardless anyway. that's all I wanted to know about because somtimes the difference between grey stock and local stock is only $100 - $200 difference, and when you add the extra costs of import duty etc it isn't worth it

        • As I said - All import handling charges are handled by us from website's purchases, which mean you DON'T need to pay any extra for the items arriving to you. You'll find the prices at check out are the total you need to pay for the items (Free Shipping offered)

        • No Import Tax/Duty to Pay:
          Any import tax/duty charged will
          be billed directly us.

I see! pretty good then, will keep it in mind if I ever decide to go ahead with a 5D Mk III ;)

Got quote from Ted's for this yesterday $1250 including GST and Australian Manufacturer's stock. So this isn't a deal at all for grey stock.

In fact, if you're happy with grey stock it's only $1022 delivered from cameraparadise.com

Also, you need to be careful buying the 650D from Overseas because if it is the 'recall stock,' you'll need to return it to the retailer and then ship it back to HK… by that time, you'll feel like you've got a 2nd hand camera.

    • The post was back in mid July where it has been expired. The current price has dropped to AU$ 1,149.99 shipped. The competitor's price you are referring to is not inclusive.
