  • Ordered first time, let's see…

    • We're confident you'll love them :)

  • I ordered the mild chilli last time and enjoyed that one. Also ordered the honey roasted and that was okay, but not as good as the chilli. I will try the hot chilli this time.

    • Glad you enjoyed them, the hot chilli is one of our top picks!

Thank you, just placed an order and picked up some macadamia spread as well.
I usually buy macadamias from the supermarket and they are always a little old/stale tasting.
Looking forward to trying these :)

    • Thank you, we are positive that you'll notice the difference. The spread is a delicious treat too!

    $50/kg sounds rather expensive.

Yes, double the price of Aldi.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/753227

      • Those are raw Macadamia nuts, not flavoured. Not really a comparable product. Plus they are ALDI special buy prices, not a regularly stocked item.

Roasted and salted = raw and not flavoured.

Just bought a 400gm pack of roasted/salted cashews from Coles for $9.00 ($22.50 kg) and they are extremely tasty. To be very frank, notwithstanding they are less than half the price per kg of this deal, they are better tasting than those I purchased on a previous OZB promotion by Macadamia Nut Hut

@Ocker: I shared your excitement until I read you bought CASHEWS not Macca's

            • @RockyRaccoon: Hahaha, me too, even tho he mentioned cashews at the beginning of the sentence ;)

Independent Companies cannot compete with big boys.

        • This one is certainly a better value than coles/woolies $6-$9 macadamias. (i think they go for about $40+/Kg in those smaller packets). Factor in shipping cost, and flavour. I'd be pretty certain this one is better than two major supermaket ones.

  • It's the same price everytime you post…

    • At 50$ a kilo?

  • Any health benefits of this over almond or walnuts? Costs almost 2.5X.

So you charge more money to ruin a perfectly good macadamia nut?

    • -1

We understand there are people out there with uncultured palates which is why we sell them raw too, feel free to give them a try πŸ‘

      • +2

So why does it cost 50 bucks a kay gee

        • That was a tongue in cheek comment for the user suggesting that we ruin them by offering flavoured nuts.

Of course we love them raw or dry roasted/ salted just as much. The fact is there's a market for flavoured Macadamia nuts and the feedback on ours is that they're delicious.

We get that this is ozBargain and everyone wants the cheapest possible price out there, but this is the sale price we are able to offer.

Seems kind of expensive compared to the aldi deal

  • +2

Yeah macadamia should be $30/kg on sale. $20 shipping ruins the deal.

  • +1

    This is nuts.

    Deez nuts.
