    Not sure about the home starter pack. But got only the fan for $50 during Christmas. Pretty good for the price, if anyone is on the fence about the purchase.

          It can't natively. Without hacks you have to use the Xiaomi app.

      No, it doesn't.

      I have google home with xiaomi app linked. It can only see my other fans and purifier but not this.

    With this set, you can setup auto start/stop of fan on switch press/temperature/door open-close and obviously can remote manage fan.
    I have this package. fan is good but not fast enough on highest level 4 but it is quiet.

    It’s pretty quiet but not that great in terms of the speed even at the highest setting. Brought it for 50$ so not bad.

    Get the Xiaomi fan if possible. The Viomi fan lacks features and looks cheap.

      I have both. Like you say, the Xiaomi fan is much nicer looking and has more features, BUT I haven't seen it on sale for a very long time. If you don't need those extra features, and can get this for half the price of the Xiaomi (or ~$50 cheaper) then this fan is perfectly fine for the job.

    I used to have one and it worked really well. There is a model that simulates a natural breeze and that feels great. Actually I had the feeling of being kissed by the breeze.

    However, it was not easily disassembled, so I had to sell it when I was moving long distance.

      I received both the fan and starter pack in two deliveries with different tracking numbers.
      Both items are brand new and sealed.

      The fan was sent via parcel post by sender "Fulfillment Centre" in NSW.
      The mi starter pack was sent via parcel post by sender "Azau Global" in NSW

      My ebay tracking number was only for the mi starter pack.

    Fan looks good, a bit short, not as strong (or as loud 😄)as my Vornado air circulator but it works great. I love the vertical function, it tilts up to 90 degrees to circulate the air in the room
