        It's all about the group you belong to now. We spent the 20th century fighting for individual rights and freedoms. That didn't last long.

    My favourite author, if you like his fiction, his non fiction is even better. Homage to Catalonia is brilliant, as is Down and out in Paris and London.
    They’re all good, but his essays are even better.
