  • Urhhhhh wth I just ordered 2 hours ago 😂 guess it's a return and rebuy!

    • I can't remember whether it's target or kmart but going by comments here, people who return in such circumstances tend to get future orders cancelled as 'out of stock'

      • I ordered some low stock pants, wouldn't let me order more than 2. But I just tried to place another order and it let's me check out.

I'll think I have another account when I wanted the sign up voucher anyway haha

        • I think they check bad users via credit card details, but not quite sure

          • +1

@justtoreply: Seems a little odd that they'd put in the effort for that, now I'm curious to find the comments lol.

Do you know which type of goods/categories the up to 17% and 30% cover? Or do we find that out at 10am.

    • Usually softgoods have a high cashback, while hardgoods are only like 2%

      • Softgoods: Fashion & Apparel, Accessories, Bed Linen / Covers
      • Hardgoods: Gardening, Books, Photography, Electronics, Luggage, Cards & Wraps, Toys, Outdoor, Toiletries, Furnitures, Festive Decorations, Audio, Dried Sundries, General Merchandise, Cosmetic & SkinCare, Fragrance, Bath & Body, Nursery
      • Music and Gaming category items are not applicable for Cashback
  • So i cannot buy a gift card with this?

    • " DON'Ts " - i presume not?

  • Is target cashback calculated exclude GST? can someone confirm this. Ebay is calculated based on full amount.

if no cap, the ps5 would have been sold out within minutes

    • -1

Gaming category items are not applicable for Cashback

      • yeah trying to find anything worth getting

Why would Westpac do that? To give the other banks their money (via interest on credit card purchases)? That makes no sense.

The only way Westpac recuperate their funds is by you having a Westpac product. So get on board or don't, your call.

Anz with cashrewards wasn't convincing but if you don't have a Westpac card now you're crazy.

        • Everyone has their opinion on good/bad banks. I'm using their ability to split home loans into fixed rate chunks of 30k, each of which can be almost paid off in advance. Which locks in interest rates but actually gives me flexibility to pay 99% of it off early as if it were a variable loan.

Plus, the $4k refinance bonus. And the credit card bonus points from signup. And now shopback bonus on top.

Plus their rates were lowest at the time (of the major banks).

          I'm a happy customer.

Their detractors were using in house staff was a slow (but otherwise competent) refinance process and their net banking password only allows 6 characters (the latter will be the reason i leave.. Not happy about the insecurity of that)

This is surely a troll post, having said that can't assume anything these days.

I dont think this an issue in regards to being a scam as it in regards to you just feeling entitled.

Shopback still has offers for non westpac customers.
If you choose not to use them that's on your own bias.

FoMo… Does weird things to people.. Lol

    • I do a bit, because it doesn't include cards with their subsidiaries - St.George, Bank of Melbourne, BankSA.

    Thanks.

How do you get the Westpac 30% bonus? I'm confused

    • +1

Yes I can't find mention of that, the Shopback website only refers to 2% bonus.

      • +1

        Only the app mentions 30%

        • @gotyourback There was a similar issue with the Liquour land cash back. Although it did track properly in the end.

          • +2

@sween64: Hey mates, yeah this one is available on all devices, but is currently only being advertised in our app. Definitely all good and available, we've just not been able to add it on our desktop site in time. Sorry for the confusion!

Anyone close to ShopBack know how deep they are into the overall westpac partnership?

In hindsight, if I knew there would be this many good deals, I would have 100% got a westpac card from the beginning. But not sure if it's worth it now if they are going to end in a week.

    • would like to know the same. It just sucks that Westpac charges maintenance fees, meaning to have to deposit X amount a month on the account to keep the card free and enjoy these deals.

      • Think most people might have a mortgage subsidizing this.

    • $30 million dollar deep. Google it and that's how much westpac provided so far.

  • It says up to 17% but has no indication what is included ??? Can anyone clarify a bit??

    • It looks to be softgoods only under the "Cashback Info" tab.

      • Ah ok it’s changed since a min ago. Thanks

  • 17% for softwoods, 0.5% for hardgoods. Not sure about the Westpac bonus…

  • great, still on onepass free trial, wanted a V pillow but none anywhere near me, so only delivery (free atm), and now getting the 17% and 30% cashback for it as well…winning

  • +2

Would you for the hardgood category get 0.5% + 30% Westpac Bonus. So 30.5% on hardgoods ?
    Can anybody confirm this ?
    @gotyourback

    • +3

Correct, the 30% is across all goods so tracks separately and will apply to the full order value reported.

      • +2

        @sween64 FYI :)

      • +1

how long after the normal tracking should it take for the Westpac tracking? Thanks

        • +1

Hey mate, typically 1-2 days tops for this to be added in, there've been some delays recently that we're currently investigating so I'll keep posted about whether these are ongoing delays or if they're just isolated to the weekend.

          • @gotyourback: ok, thanks, I was just wondering, as some transactions through other sites (like First Choice etc) the tracking comes through for both at the same time

      • Does this take additional time? My 17% cashback was tracked (albeit weirdly as it shows up as 4 separate line items for a single order but they total correctly) but am yet to see the 30%.

        • Hey there mate, yeah the Westpac Bonus will track separately, and whilst I've seen some track with only an hour or so of purchasing, I typically would say to wait 1-2 days for it to come through. If you're not seeing it track after the 48 hour mark though, feel free to reach out via DM, I'm happy to take a look.

  • the shopback 17% tracked, but so far no westpac 30% bonus tracking…

    • Did you buy on the app or on the website via browser?

      • website via browser

  • I cant see anything on SB website about bonus westpac cashback.

    • I took the info from the ShopBack app

      • Oh found it in the app too. How dumb some things don’t appear on the website.

        • Might indicate a risk that the bonus offer per the app may not eventuate, given that the website is showing a different offer (only 2%). Perhaps an IT glitch.

  • is a dog bed,bowel, duster, a soft good?

  • Just got my order in, hopefully the tracking comes through shortly

  • With orders where there is no minimum spend if an item is canceled will the cashback and bonus be paid on the remainder of the order?

  • @gotyourback
Can I place more than one order and get the 30% Westpac cashback on all up to $25 cap?

    • Yer i figured it was $25 per transaction??? Can I do multiple lots if I go in and out of the app?

      • +1

Yep mate, the cap listed is per transaction, just make sure you exit Target and head back through ShopBack in between transactions so that each one tracks.

        • +1

Cheers and thank the heavens…. Already did 5 orders so far >.>

          • @Splashtash: Hahahaha nice work!

          • +1

@Splashtash: Nice work! And good to have that question answered :). 12 separate orders for me! Even got flagged for Credit Card Fraud at one point and had to get the transactions flagged as legitimate before I could continue :D. Lesson learned from Myer (ordered a couple of items together and had one cancelled haha).

        • Thanks for confirming! And good job @Splashtash!

  • Just missed out on 17% promo darn

  • on the Westpac account, it says "ShopBack Australia AU" and $0 does that mean I'm not getting the 30% cashback?

  • @gotyourback hey mate. If I buy something using the $10 off $50 received from newsletter signup. Will the cashback be honoured? The offer is advertised on shopback.

    • Hey mate, sorry for the delayed reply. Future ref, if the promo is advertised on our website and app, you're all good to redeem it and stack up with Cashback + any Bonuses.
