      Thanks!!! Got 1

  • How accurate are the run times on this?

    • not very, and worst over time the more you use it.

Cheers - I've been skeptical of the reviews as they're skewed to focus on new features vs actual battery performance. I've owned four
Dyson’s going back to the original ball and none of my sticks have had particularly impressive battery life. Seems like the feature that needs attention, not the novelty of a floor light laser show

        • absolutely agree, that is why I didn't upgrade my V11 from 5 years ago to the V15.
they probably tested it with the useless perfect conditions (perfect cool room temperature, lowest power setting, new battery immediately from factory, no carpet attachment so it doesn't drain more power, etc…)

        • Agree on the battery part, laser is not a novelty though. It is rather very useful. I have v12 and can say that light is worthwhile as I can see the dirt if not picked up in first go or in places which seems clean. It's something which you have to use it for sometime to get the feel of who useful it is.

Set your calendar reminder battery warranty - 1 month and make a claim.

These guys are ruthless and couldn't give an f about consumer laws in australia, so dont feel to guilty.

    • On boost its about 12 minutes on the large carpet/floor attachment, and about 6-7 minutes on the small rectangular nozzle.

On normal/medium setting double the time, but doesn't really suck as much as I want to

How does it compare to dreame T30?

I'm still trying to pin point when a $1000+ vacuum became a new normal. It got trendy I guess.

    • think of it more as a social status thing

      Thanks OP.
      Bought 25!

Our 5yr old V7 with an aftermarket replacement battery still goes strong. I really can't see the point in forking out $1k+ for a stick vacuum with a laser.

    • Same here, I'm on my 3rd battery and it still works fine

I will probably upgrade after this battery dies just because I can afford to, I'm a big fan of the newer heads, and the laser on polished concrete makes it a lot easier.

On carpet you can tell exactly where you've been and it's not necessary but I've got polished concrete outside of the bedrooms
