  • Is this better than NordVPN?

    • +3

I would say nordvpn speeds are better. But ivacy has specialised servers for the different overseas streaming options.

    • Nord is a fair bit quicker & has more servers, but Ivacy, like @baaher20 says has better streaming options. Over the years I've found them to fly under the radar, like when the BBC starts blocking.

Ome issue some might have issues with I believe they're Chinese owned/based.

      • so i assume it doesn't properly work from within China?

    • If you use Nord for the web, it's completely crap now in my experience as bad as PIA, every google search a catphra or a DOUBLE CATPHRA, (who ever knew there was such a hellish thing), certain IP's I am banned from places such as Twitch and Amazon. Sometimes YT will buffer , so I do a speed test, about 220mbit from 250mbit connection, try the YT video again, and lag again. I don't even understand how they manage to messs up YT like that.

      • Why would you use a VPN for YT?

        • There's the option to turn it off for chrome/firefox etc, but not to turn it off for certain websites like YT or google where there's no point to VPN's as far as protecting privacy as they're actively tracking you anyway. Using a VPN should prevent any deep packet inspection, logging, and protocol shaping by your ISP. I think that's an important use even if others only use VPN's for downloading Linux ISO torrents.

        • Reason for VPN YT is because some countries such as Vietnam doesn’t allow you to play YT in the background hence the need for VPN.

I've had lifetime subs since 2017, been working fine for me.

      • Got this about 2 months back.
Does the job but cuts out sometimes in desktop

  • Anyone knows any good VPN that has Bangladesh server beside Surfshark? I miss watching some of the local dramas lol

  • Showing me as Lifetime membership after I purchased it for 5 years.

    • does it show any "auto-renew/ charge" by any date stamps if it shows as a life-time membership?

      • It’s showing as below.
        Next Due Date: N/A
        Billing Cycle: One Time

  • Will this have a India server? For Disney Hotstar and like?

    • No VPN can provide you with a proper India location. All VPNs providing India as their server location are virtual. India banned VPN entirely.

      • What a shame how do we get zee5 and disney hotstar any recommendations plz

I am still waiting on my cashback 6 months later and I've followed it up twice so far. Was alot of money for a VPN
