Minimum total cost $58.95 per month
for 6 months, then $74.95 ongoing*

    • +3

once 6mth is over, call there retention team, they'll extend the offer for 6 more months.

    • I'm on Superloop 50/20 unlimited right now, $64.95 per month (that's $69.95 - $5 retention discount). wonder when they raised the base price to $74.95, at long they don't raise it on existing customers :)

      • +1

Prices goes back to normal after 6months. They also offered me $5 discount but then i asked them to match new user offer which they did. maybe time for you to call them again!

        • sounds good!

        • Dam, nice, They applied a $10 discount for me last time for 6 months. At the end of the 6 month period (12months since sign up), they declided to apply a further retention saying I've already recieved a retension discount, told them to schdule a cancellation.

      • Think it was just before Christmas time

I was eyeing off the 100/40 at 79.95 but switched over after it went up to 84.95

  • Is this a reliable service? I've been with Aussie BB for an age now but looking to move to a faster plan and they won't price match

    • +3

I churned from iiNet to Superloop and I find Superloop faster, more reliable and the service has been amazing

    • +3

I've been with them for about 4 years, never had any issues except for occasional planned outage due to maintenance, which is always overnight and always planned ahead with plenty of heads up beforehand.
From my experience, I would highly recommend them.

    • I recently churned from ABB to Superloop.. notice only a slight drop in speed that equates to the overprovision.. so on ABB I used to get 110/45 on superloop it get 98/39.
Good enough for me. the price savings is significant enough that i dont see the speed change

      • When you churned did you get the SL configured router or did you use the ABB router?

I am looking the churn from ABB and wasn't sure if I should get the new router or not

        Thanks

        • +1

Not the person you originally asked but I switched from ABB to SL and I didn’t even notice it happened

HFC modem connected to nest wifi, got a text message 5-10 mins after confirming to say it had been done

  • I was with Superloop 50/20 for $54.95 per month couple of months ago.

  • +1

$74.95 ongoing? No. I'm with them now at $64.95 and thinking about leaving due to price

    • Honestly $64.95 one of the best prices going around for that minus tangerine and leaptel but even they cost more than $65 post promo. Plus Superloop will have grandfathered you if you signed up before the general price rise

  • Im paying $64.95 each month all the time for 50/20 with Myrepublic and getting download speeds of 48

  • +1

I'm with Exetel and the 50/20mbit plan is $53.95 worth a look! been with them since Nov last year no issues

    • I am with Exetel atm but I found my UDM PRO might have some compatibility issues with PPPoE.
Speed test runs at full speed however the downloads sometimes are quite slow, I am also wondering if they throttle the speed for specific traffic, such as Windows updates during peak hours.
They do mention they run network management on their end to optimise their traffic.

    • Superloop acquired Exetel a few years ago.

      • I think Exetel is 'belong' grade of service of Superloop lol
Yes, they do use Superloop as part of their network.

  • paying 63 with auspost for 100/20. So far definitely better than exetel.

    • dang, how you get that price? :o

      • there was a post here with family discount stacked with another discount.

    • How is auspost?

      • as good as superloop

      • +17

        How is auspost?

        packets constantly getting lost.

        • +2

          Or stolen

          • +2

@justtoreply: One of the packets I waiting for was sitting in their warehouse for 5 days !!!

            • +1

@jv: I’m on day 3 waiting for my coffee beans, delivery address 5 minute drive away from where it was posted from and the auspost sorting facility !

For some reason they like to sort it here in the ACT, send it to Sydney for further sorting then back to the ACT.

            • @jv: They did not send ACK ?

        • Like their same city mail delivery lol

Like the tracking details below, still not delivered and eBay issued a refund.

        • If you do ping (send a parcel) you would expect Auspost to have significant packet loss (parcel loss), They also have significant latency around black Friday and Christmas.

        • My package is going to Newcastle NSW (about 80mins north of Sydney)
So far it has left from warehouse in Melbourne then went to Sydney for processing.

Then it was Perth - yes Western Australia for more processing. It has then gone back to Sydney for more processing. It will be around 2 weeks from ordering to on my door step…..

          Gotta love Aus Post

      • its between Spintel and Superloop.

    • I have the same plan and downloading rate is always around 80m, probably due to the hardware limitations (FTTN). I am wondering if auspost will do some free upgrade to FTTP for me. Otherwise, I have to leave.

      • +1

If you are eligible Superloop can organize FTTP. AusPost won't. Find a participating provider

        • +1

Thank you. I found a CBA deal. The same plan, but $69 for 12 months (not 6 months) and free upgrade to FTTP.

  • Was with Superloop for a couple of years, never had an issue with them over 2 different houses.

Moved to Exetel cause figured, why not, and so far haven’t had any issue either. The ‘speed boost’ feature I’ve got to say is absolutely awesome and will probably be staying with Exetel even after my 6 month discount ends simply due to that feature.

    • +1

I have tried Exetel's speed boost only once because all devices lost internet access till I power cycled the router (not the NTD). Nothing like that for you?

      • Nah can’t say I have. I’m on FTTN and lost connectivity for a few minutes when it kicked in as well as when the 24 hours ended and that was it.

Edit: Just tested it again then, took 2 minutes after enabling it for sync to drop, came back after a couple of minutes and everything is humming away at the new 100/40 speeds.

      • Mine does that, my router hates their ppoe or whatever it's called. Changing to Auspost and hope they are better as they don't need a router login

        • with auspost some exchanges required PPOE aka Login.

  • Thinking of changing from Telstra (I will not say how much I pay- embarrassing). What are people's experiences when it comes to transition time? Is it instant?

    • +1

      Is it instant?

Allow for a few hours, but might be quicker.

Also, if you are a CBA customer, also look at More Telecom as you get 30% off for 12 months.

      • Plan to switch to Tangerine from Telstra 5G
        — Telstra 5G giving me 300-500mbps downoad but for some reason it sems slower to respond than my previous TPG NBN50
I think it has something to do with latency as telstra app always report that download/upload were excellent byut LAtency always showing Poor

I plan to take the Tangerine $62.90.month on NBN100 for 6 months. then switch to More (assuming Tangerine speed /experince is good) since it is owned by Tangerine.

  • My CBA More NBN deal is about to run out soon. Time to think about looking for another provider

    • how about switch to tangerine (same company of More)

      • Thanks for the recommendation. Will check em out

  • Are these contract prices (min 6, 12, 24 months) or can leave anytime?

    • No contract and leave when you want. No pro-rata refund.

  • I have never changed provider. If I change provider is it as simple as changing the login details?

    • That depends on the ISP you are changing to. Superloop use the IPoE authentication protocol that doesn't use a login. Some ISPs like TPG, Dodo and Exetel use login details. You can change IPoE or the PPPoE login in your router settings menu.

  • any issues with using the Google nest router and points?

    • Nest Wi-Fi can be used with Superloop.

  • +2

FYI for anyone with ABB and considering churning like I was. I left an online feedback with ABB about this deal and asked if they can match it for my current plan and within the hour got a call back from ABB. The ABB guy was easy to talk to and matched the deal straight away, saved me the hassle of churning. He did say he can only match it for 6 months in line with what Superloop offered and I would need to contact them again afterwards if I want another discount which seemed fair enough to me.

    • Do you have a link where you left the feedback

    • I submitted the online feedback and received a call - unfortunately they mentioned that they 'do not price match' and I referred to this comment and they rebutted with 'they must have signed up with another ISP, not ABB'…

Just curious, do you know the name of the person that contacted you? I would like to try to get a hold of them to get this deal as well. Thanks!

    • May I ask objectively what spamming one single individual would achieve? Would it not be better to persist with emailing or phoning their support line if you have an issue or seeking a resolution to an existing one.

  • Wish they’d offer Opticomm…. There isn’t anything to churn atm from exetel. 6 months $53.95 / month is over and everything is $70+ at this stage.

    • +1

Same, just moved to new place and its on opticomm only . Could not find good deal for any ISP listed.

  • Im currently with Telstra
What type of modem would be compatible ? Would it be better to buy this from another vendor ?

    • +1

Your Telstra modem is compatible with Superloop.

  • +1

    Cheers

  • I am with TPG. I understand I would have to give TPG 30 days notice to quit.

Curious about if the TPG supplied modem would be supported by superloop? Something burnt into my brain from when I set up a router was VLAN.

Also anyone had experience getting a price match from TPG?

    thanks

  • Does super loop let you pick a future connection date? My current provider Origin has a 30 day notice period

    • +1

They did when I switched to them awhile ago (not with them anymore). I had a future date but actually rang them a day or 2 before that to get yit done immediately.

  • If anyone is curious - just went through the signup process and it took 2.5 minutes from "we received your order" to "connect your router to UNI-D1" texts. (had no existing connection so no churn/confirmation needed)

    • Did they tell you the setup for the router or did you have their router with setting pre installed?

  • Is 500/50 plan download speed limited to 500m? does superloop use cgnat?

    • Call SL to get Carrier Grade NAT disabled.

  • I was a customer a few years ago, and stopped service.

Am I a new customer if I join again today, with different address, and different card.

(can i use the same email or would I be considered existing client?)

    • +1

A new customer is usually someone who hasn't been with them for 12 months. That what ABB was so I'm guessing it's the same with SL

  • +1

I saw an article on lifehacker yesterday and it references a Superloop deal expiring today (Jan 19) using code WOEX2223

    $69.95/month 100/20

$69.95/mth for first 6 mths, then $89.95/mth. Use code WOEX2223. Offer ends 19.01.23

    https://www.lifehacker.com.au/2023/01/cheapest-nbn-plans-aus…

  • Can you stack these rates with a referral code?

    • I doubt it- was told that can only apply one offer at a time.

  • Has anyone tried their mobile service? Thinking of getting both internet and phone through the same provider for my Mother to save some headaches

  • +2

Holy cow, just had the fastest churn ever. Signed up to Superloop, not 10 minutes later it was active. Speed is about 20mb/s faster than Exetel on my crappy fttn connection. +1 for Superloop.

  • Was a happy camper with Superloop for 18 months. Signed up yesterday and majorly regret it. Very poor speeds in my area (old cabling) but you wouldn't believe how difficult it is to get in touch with customer support to change my account. I'm sorry to all the people I've recommended Superloop to in the last few months:(
