So you resell ex mining cards, what a genius business venture.

    • +3

      At not far off cost

  • +19

You liquidate ex-miners? That's hard core. I like it!

    • Liquefy like the t1000 in T2?

      • +1

More like the way Agent 47 liquidates a target.

  • I like this idea, hopefully you will get some 3070TI

  • +1

    NZXT H1 V2
    Max GPU Clearance 324mm
    Max GPU Thickness 58mm

    This card
    32 x 14.02 x 5.78 Centimeter

    Tight…

    • Nothing a Dremel can't fix :P

    • I was wondering that too before as well since I got tempted by the H1 deal. Given that the measurements are reported to two decimal places surely they are accurate…

      • I'm tempted but waiting for my H1 to ship before committing to other parts.

        • I want to see the end result. If that fits it'll look awesome!

  • would you be able to share some insights on what model of cards incoming next week? thanks

    • +4

      Not many.

1660ti (a few more of the one month mined ones)
      1660/super, 580 8/4gb (single units)
3080 turbo (6 units, currently trying to fix the thermals but no luck, this will be very cheap but only really for people who run their fans at 100% or going to put on a custom loop or aio)

      • 3080 pricing?

        • Probably 699

          • +1

            @rlgtech: I assume its the 10gb one?
Any plan on the 12gb one?

            • @jsilverhand: 10gb. Unlikely to have any 12gb. If you do need the extra ram I'd say go for AMD.

      • Also interested in a cheap 3080 to water cool

        • 3080 has been uploaded onto the website.

      • What are the current temps for the 3080 turbos? Are they hitting 80-90° during stress test? At what temps are acceptable in your opinion?

        • +1

First I need to distinguish between 3 temperature readings: core/memory/hotspot. For most cards when we say temp we refer to core temp. The general consensus (and my opinion too) is that core temp below 80 is good, 80-90 is acceptable, and memory/hotspot ~10 above core is acceptable, given that none of them throttle the card.

          For 3080 turbo:

Before repaste: 84/105/102, throttling to 1750mhz, 100% fan.
After repaste+new thermal pads: 78/87/84, no throttling at 1830mhz, 100% fan.

Before repaste is definitely not acceptable, though it is by design, being a blower, and Gigabyte might say it is fine, since it doesn't throttle much.
After repaste I would say is acceptable as a blower, but 100% fan would not be acceptable for non-blowers. Therefore it is only recommended to people who doesn't care about fan noise, would water cool it anyways, or really need the blower for an itx build.

  • Any chance of 6900 XT cards in the near future OP?
Good luck with the venture btw!

    • +1

      Thanks!

Stock is hugely dependent on who are willing to liquidate themselves and what cards they have. 6900XT is not a popular mining card so I doubt there would be any.

  • +1

    Are these thoroughly cleaned?

    • -2

We clean them quickly by but we don't open it up to clean it thoroughly, to preserve any warranty seals. The cleaniness is reflected by the condition grade, so if it is not clean it will be cheaper. A+/A condition cards are very presentable. Of course, if they have temperature problems then we will open them up for repaste and thorough clean, which would render their condition A at best.

      • +8

Using them for mining already voids warranty, and most warranties arent transferable

  • Even with code it charges me with shipping?

    • +1

Did you select express shipping? Select courier shipping and the code with show -$20.

  • -6

Hi OP, does this come with a bag?

    • All these come with box and antistatic bags.

        • +7

What do you mean? I am confused.

          • -8

@rlgtech: Just wanted to check about static bags. I haven’t had a desktop in 10+ years now, so I’m looking for some advice for what will suit this card. Can I give you guys a call tomorrow at some stage if you have time for a chat before I place my order?

            • +1

              @qldmike: lol, troll harder.
You want to call a GPU seller about what desktop is suitable?

              LMGTFY

  • When I use NEWYEAR it makes no difference to the total charge.

    • Once you enter the order screen and put in the address, it will show up with postage options. Selecting the courier shipping option will show 20 bucks shipping and then the coupon showing -20.

  • Seems like a pretty good deal - the 3 month warranty is more than one would get on a card from Marketplace.

The 6800 is also a really decent card and the drivers are finally catching up (usually takes AMD 2-3 years).

  • +5

Given this specific model has been sold as low as $670 on sale brand new, this doesn't feel like a great deal to be honest.

    • Didn't know they got to $670 brand new, that really would be a good deal.

      • It was one of the Afterpay sales, but I had just done a search on Ozbargain to get a gauge of how good this was.

        • Graphics cards have actually gone up since then so not really comparable to this deal

    • +2

agreed, most of these need another 20% drop to be good value as used/ex-mining.

  • -4

The XT were $800 new 6 months ago. Get ya hand off it

    • -2

what pro inflation loser negged my comment this time.

Hopefully it wasn't someone other than the OP. It's a blatant ripoff, stop being a gremlin and remove ya neg. This is ozbargain, not "I'll neg every comment attacking overpriced gpu's".

      • Says the guy named "JimmyNegger" complaining about being negged.

mate I didn't neg you, just found it funny

        • Same guy as jimmy77? How many jimmy are there?

  • Shouldn't this GPU OC a treat?

It is a cut down 6800 XT and running at slower clocks, the deactivated cores will act like a heat spreader, so you should be able to knock up the core speed.

    -Edit-

I checked and it looks like it does. Shame I just got a used 6700XT or I'd have considered this.

  • any 6800xt or 3070tis?

    • No right now, but there will be a small amount of 3070 and 3080 soon.
