    So brawlhalla but from epic.

Don't know if it's me, but that sounded condescending.

The game plays like a cross between Smite and Brawlhalla/Smash.

It's published by Hi-Rez studios (who also published Smite) and available on multiple platforms. If you don't like Epic, play it on another platform. Brawlhalla is also available on Epic if it matters to you.

Why did it sound negative? The description sounded exactly what brawlhalla would have said so that was my first reaction.

It's the "from epic". Everytime there's a deal from Epic, some people get on the high horse and complain that they prefer another platform.

Anyway, sounds like it's just me being overly sensitive lmao. Have a nice day :)

      • I don't think this game should be compared to smash. It's nothing like it really

    • Correction: So 3D brawlhalla but from epic.

    Thank you OP!

This was on PS+ at launch, too. Makes you wonder if anybody ever actually paid for it?

  • Is this game just different playable characters with set moves? Or are there upgrades/skill trees?

    • +1

Moves stay the same but charge times and some strength of moves are unlockable/selectable. I believe their plan if for more detailed upgrades/skill progression. The game is very much in it's infancy it has a full launch roadmap of upcoming updates etc.

      • Okay thanks! I'll grab it then. No harm in free lol.

Probably trying to build up their user base. Pretty much destined to become f2p methinks

  • Looks like it's free on steam again too?

  • I grabbed this for free on Steam and got a fun few hours out of it.
