Does it have the side scroll wheel click like the anywhere mx 2? Mx3 removed it :(
No
Black was $38.90 just before Xmas
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/745827?utm_source=reddit&u…If you're willing to wait, you can get something that a lot of people are saying is better than this, that's the Razer Orochi V2. You can get it on sale on Ebay.
Got the Orochi v2 for $35 from eBay but I prefer the shape of the 203/305. Orochi feels too small, the mouse sensor is moved closer to the front and the battery life isn't as good for me.
Would buy one if they were still $35!
using the orochi v2 last couple months, i (profanity) love it. great central weight, choice of battery size, BT & 2.4ghz dongle just makes it so reliable & fast responsive. i love my lil eggy. still tempted by this deal solely to have another mouse on hand…i cant stand the logitech software though, feels so bloatware y
not bluetooth btw
I don't believe BT is capable of the polling rates required for a "gaming" mouse
A mouse can do both 2.4 and BT?
The mouse is pretty good for this price. Think its around 95g and battery last long (uses aa battery)
Not good for big hands.
Huh? It's an average to average-big sized mouse, i'm 183 with big hands and it was just fine
For me it's suitable for maybe a fingertip grip but definitely not suitable if you palm with large hands
What about super hands
Then just have a nice little relaxing smoke of crack
hulk smash
A bigger mouse would be like the razer viper v2 pro or the deathadder v3
Was my HTPC mouse for a year and a half(g304-black), replaced recently with deathadder hyperspeed
Was very good for the purpose, absolutely zero connection issues and was very good for use on my table (on a gamepad)
After 7-8 month the middle wheel started not working properly, but i was abusing the mouse and using it with oily hands etc many hours per day
After 16-17 months middle wheel is very had to scroll, not sure if i made it worse when i tried to clean it.Quick comparison with the deathadder, logitech's plastic feels better in the hand and is easy to lift when you need to. Deathadder's plastic feels cheaper but the side buttons are better, ergonomically is better (right hand only though) and has a little bit worse feeling when you lift it around.
Not sure which is better, they're pretty close. Probably logitech for the better plastic feelingusing it with oily hands etc many hours per day
From eating chips or some other activity requiring lubrication?
Never go back to AA battery mice!
Unless it's cheap😉
It's good when you need to get back into a game when your battery is low. It also extends the life of the mouse.
I kind of wish the MX Master came in battery versions. One day the battery will stop holding its charge, and I'll have to get a new one before the switches malfunction…
You could swap out the battery still. Likely a bit of a DIY job and you'll also probably have to replace the Teflon feet if they're covering up some screws, but definitely doable. I've taken apart my g pro super light to replace the switches and it's not that hard.
yeah you can, but why? you are going to run out of the user replaceable lithium batteries at some point too. then past that you are going into the modding path which many people wouldn't bother to do.
i'd rather get devices that come with replaceable AA batteries as a default factory design.
@slowmo: I was providing a solution for the guy lamenting the imminent death of his MX Master. You don't need to buy an MX Master if you don't want to.
Why? The batteries literally last months and you can just swap them out when dying. Just use Eneloops/rechargable batteries and it's much more convenient than a USB charging cord even, in my opinion.
I literally seek out mice that use AAs now. The Logitech g603 has converted me. I got a g305 from a deal last month that I've yet to try out.
+1
I have a strong dislike for devices with non-replaceable batteries….unless there is a significant reason for doing so.
anti-eneloop user detected! hand in your OzB badge !
I've put some sacrificial mouse grips on mine to extend its life. Cheap as chips from AE ($4):

one of the best for light gaming and office work
I got this one for the 25K sensor. The colour is not everyone's cup of tea, but it works great! https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/729773
Any recommendations for a Macbook (given its limited USB ports)?
Orochi v2, can use Bluetooth for casual use
Just a heads up, this can be had on Ebay for $36.95 in black colour using code AFTPAYNNNP6WGJ7M.
Which listing will accept that code? There are quite a few listings for it…
Thanks bud, but code does not work.
You dont see under the price? it says Pay only AU $36.95. "show me how"
Nope, code does not work. Offers $2 something off, with ebay plus.
Can anyone tell me if this new Logitech dongle tech is compatible with their unifying kb? The beauty of unifying was the single dongle.
Good deal dude!
