Wouldn't you rather be playing other games tho?

These are not stellar (or if you have a switch are on Switch already). If I was going to play steam deck I'd be playing something that A) was great and B) I couldn't play without a pc.

      A) "Great" is subjective
      B) Like the title, one of the main points of a Steam deck is to play on the go. How demanding a game is or whether you have a PC is totally irrelevant to this (Unless the game runs like crap).

        Wot?

Playing your steam library on the go… Yes… You probably already have better games than these in your library that you could play without spending anything

        • Are you saying to never buy new games and always play the same games? That every person already has every Steam game in their library? I don't get it

          • -1

@wangasm: Ok so i checked reviews on all games. Turns out some are good so fair enough.

Personally I'd still be playing my existing backlog of even better stuff. Don't know why that's so hard to understand. Practically everyone with a steamdeck is going to have a backlog that's better. But yes the ones on offer aren't all shovelware.

            • +2

@justtoreply: That's understandable for you. But you can't just assume everyone with a Steam deck is like you with a big Steam library/backlog, this deal isn't targeted for you and that's fine.
Also even when I myself have have a big library/backlog, I'm always buying new games when they are on sale. So not everyone has the same spending habits

            • @justtoreply: What's better than these games? Like wangasm said, it's pretty subjective.
