Dell Dual Charge Dock HD22Q $189 + $5 Delivery to Most Areas ($0 VIC/NSW C&C/ in-Store) + Surcharge @ Centre Com

This is a very compact USB C docking station with an inbuilt phone stand with wireless Qi charging. Supports dual 4K monitors, or in single mode a 4K @ 60Hz/8K @ 30Hz. As far as I can tell this is a historical low price: currently $441 at Dell and $261 at Mwave.

Ports and features:

  • 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1
  • 1x USB-C Gen 2 port with power delivery 3.0
  • 1x HDMI 2.1 port
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.4 port
  • RJ-45 Ethernet jack
  • Qi 1.3 charging pad (up to 12W fast charge)
  • 130-watt power brick

  • Bought one. However, while it is a USB-C docking station, it is not a Thunderbolt docking station.

      My bad - corrected!

All good :) It's like they actively try to make it as confusing as possible.

Non-TB4/3/USB4 connection doesn't have bandwidth for non-compressed dual 4K@60Hz. This devil's details (ie. gotchas) are in Display resolution table

Brilliant. Stacked with a $25 eBay plus promo.
Going to use it with an M1 Max MBP - sounds like everything works except the power button and dual display

  • So if i got this with my asus zenbook laptop, should i be expected to be able to charge and dual screen using usb3?
