All good. I have spare android phone to hotspot off. Optus tech coming on monday to sort NBN
Whenever I have an NBN outage, I just ask Optus to add some data for free to my prepaid mobile broadband as a workaround. They also reimbursed me for the modem and SIM the first time.
If you need more data amaysim selling the 100gb sim for $12 every second days pretty much.

Woolies has been selling this promo almost every week since December, doesn't mean it still there but I wouldn't be surprise if it come back again.
It seems this starter kits can’t be activated as long term plan like 180 or 365 days. Is the long term prepaid plan card only available on Optus website?
could elaborate how to use for 180 days or 365 days?
thanksYou used to be able to choose when you activated if you wanted long expiry or if me of the prepaid deals but not anymore at Optus.
Voda has kept doing it. The $30 last for 6 months on long expiry option and the $40 and $50 for a year. You can get the $40 on sale usually so for $15 you can have a number that lasts for a year with a gig of data.

@freeman: All the ones I have used just say "Vodafone Starter Pack" on them but yeah I have seen the newer ones on the shelves with like "40GB|$30" on them and have not tried them. Sorry.
