I have heard of some rural places still charging 30-50 per pack of tests, get a cheap set here.

    Escalate it. You'll eventually get to someone with common sense and the power to refund you. I had an expensive product delivered by Amazon to a house on the 'odd' numbered side of the street, about 50m away. I was home, got notification that it had been delivered but couldn't find it anywhere. Just as I was writing a message to them the woman form the 'wrong' house knocked at the door and handed over my box. Their contractors vary between excellent and incompetent ime.

  Any scienticians here able to elucidate on nasal vs. oral tests? Is either one better than the other? Any 'gotchas' etc?

    Not a medical scientist but done correctly early indicators suggest oral may be slightly more reliable for Omicron, depending on when you test. Getting very high sensitivity RATs is a good start (see ARTG listings). Alternatively get a pack of each type.

    RAT's are NOT definitive as we all know so if it's important (contact with compromised people etc) and you have symptoms get a PCR and of course sanitize, wear masks etc.
