    Looking at the picture, seems like 30 LED per metre (150 LED for 5 metre strip length). And looking at the chip which is mounted on the strip itself (instead of inside of each LED), it has 1 address every 3 LED (instead of 1 address per 1 LED if you want finer colour gradient)

      Shame, even 60 chip is pretty pixelated unless you’re running an indirect lighting setup or have a 35mm or so diffusion gap before diffuser.

  Stay clear of this junk. Bought two sets of the WiFi 200 lights, one set started with 12 dead lights the other 22, now after 3 weeks on the tree one whole set is now dead. Lucky I got them on sale at Big W for $14 each.

    That's terrible! I would take them back for a refund.

    I bought my daughter hers well over a year ago and they've been brilliant.

  Just ordered one on Amazon 20M LED for $35 ($28 with voucher)
  This works with Tuya/Smart Llife App similar to Genio App. I assume smart things by Genio can work with Smart Llife App as it does with my Genio Plug.
  I cannot tell how they like yet as have not arrived. The title says 5050RGB.
