The two are different size screens, the 24" is FULL HD (ie 1920x1080 res) versus the Aldi which is 32" with a lower 1366 x 768 resolution, although perhaps at those sizes it doesnt matter too much. The 24" has a PVR function as well, the Aldi one doesnt, plus if you really want you can also extend your warranty via Kogan, I dont think you can do the same via Aldi. Still depends on your needs whether you're going to use the 24" as a monitor as well or not, whether you care about PVR, etc, so horses for courses.
Might have missed some of the details here (aldi website)
Built-in HD Tuner Resolution: 1366 x 768 Contrast ratio: 1500:1 Response time: 8ms PVR function via USB 3 x HDMI input
PVR function by USB which sounds like the same on both units
Difference is the DVD (which is probably what you meant)
Agree about full HD not being that important on these screen sizes
Maybe its not important if you only watch free to air tv, but its important if you wanna connect your pc or ps3
they both with USB PVR, DVD, only differences are size(also screen resolution) & price!
oh, and one more thing = LCD vd LEDI would go with LED coz it save more energy(means $$)
not sure about kogan quality, but kogan charge shipping!
for Aldi, you get to try it out within 60 days too!overall it's your choice, mnicola
Note that this price does not include shipping. That is an extra $15 to $30 depending on postcode.
Aldi one DOES have inbuilt DVD Player.
I would prefer the Kogan one. You can use 12 volt.
Its also a $60 difference in price…
Full HD aside, I think this might be the better buy:
