Not all time cheapest but worth noting.
These headphones are very well regarded for their price point.
Have not purchased from drop before so not sure how the tax/customs fee situation works if anyone wants to give some insight.

It can run without an amp, had mine running for 6 months before getting one.
Cheers! I was just reading the comments - I think I'll get. Legend!
They're also easy enough to drive that you can use the apple dongle to power them just fine (Which also contains a very respectable built-in DAC)
Benefit from an amp, not a requirement.
Same goes for many cans, so a good Dac/Amp is a long term investment.
I can’t get it to offer shipping to Australia…
standard international shipping seems to be avaliable for me to australia.
More anti-WA bias …
sorry what?
@jabbawokie: Shipping to WA seemed fine for me when I ordered the 6XX
Previously bought these but beware they're a pretty snug fit despite bending/stretching em out. YMMV but for me it was a no go & had to sell em.
Yep one of the main reasons I moved mine on, these things were toit!

Drop usually ship with DHL to Australia and because they now collect GST upfront during the order process, it's a normal delivery like anything from Amazon US with no holdups

Really good entry point to higher end audio gear. Had mine for 4 years now and the thing I love about it is how easy it is to keep going inexpensively. Cables are detachable and despite being proprietary, it is easy to find aftermarket cables quite cheaply. Likewise for the earpads and the headband pad. Other structural bits you can often find 3d printed replacements for cheaply as well.
I have upgraded to higher end headphones but I still swap in the 58X regularly as they are still great to use.
Have had these for 2 years and can confirm they are solid. They're a noticeable upgrade on any old gaming headset, I pair mine with a modmic which sticks on the side just fine. It's worth noting that these are open back, so you get more outside noise compared to closed back headphones but that doesnt bother me - i actually prefer it.
I bought these a couple of weeks ago and thankfully today Drop just refunded me the difference from sale price :D
Ok this look great, but looking at them they're 150ohm impedance… so I assume you'd need an amp? can't just plug into pc aux out and expect it to work well right? And if it does need amp, any recommendations?
