Weber Charcoal Kettle Original 57cm with Cover and Cook Book $339.99 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

100

Picked up an original Weber Kettle Charcoal BBQ today (57cm) from BCF Minchinbury today for $339.99 as they price matched the Costco deal in the link above.
Usual RRP is $389. This is NOT the grey import that you get from catchoftheday. It comes with the full 10 year warranty as BCF is an authorised Weber retailer (you can check on the Weber website for authorised retailers).

I can't say for sure whether the Costco one would be a grey import or not but if you want to make sure you're getting the one with 10 year warranty, then head into BCF and get them to price match Costco.

Show them the Costco product which states it comes with the cook book and cover and BCF will match the full combo!

This kettle bbq rarely goes on sale (unless it's a grey import on catch) so it's a decent deal imo.

  • Did you have to show evidence of a Costco membership in order to price match?

    • Nope, when I went into BCF I just showed them the Costco website and they matched it.

  • This is $269 at Bunnings. May be a grey import though.

Can't believe people still buy into the grey import non warranty crap from weber. What can be broken in a bbq? Wheel falling off?

  • i bought the cheapo one jumbuck from bunnings and it works just fine. the metal probably isn't as thick or refined as this. this one is better, but definitely not 600% times better to justify the price i made for mine.

    • Have you tried doing a snake yet for low and slow?

      • not yet. i use a chimney to get it started, and then dump it to one side so i have a hot and warm side.

        • Yeah if you're just doing basic hot and fast you probably won't see too much of a difference.

          • @Cheaplikethebird: that is what this is good for.
i have a smoker for longer cooking.

@Hugh G Rection: Cool. For everyone else though if you want a good jack-of-all-trades charcoal bbq Weber kettles are great. Although would probably recommend going for a second-hand one off marketplace over a new one.

Not needed. Had mine for 15 years now and been through numerous residence relocations along the way and been leaving the kettle uncovered in an open area exposed to rain, hail, wind, sun all year round and still good as new today.

    Amazing product I tell ya.
