These headphones have gone back on sale costing $0.25 more than historical lows. Possibly a good alternative to HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless for those that want both 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth connectivity (2021 model has no Bluetooth, 2022 model has Bluetooth, amazon doesn't specify). These come with a USB-C dongle. These headphones have a removable mic.

If you've ever used this headset, you will understand why it's called the Barracuda. It's because everything sounds like you're underwater.

    • I have it and sounds alright, not spectacular, but alright

What alternative do you suggest , cheers

Yup, big skip on this one

Just a heads up that these are the 2021 version and not the 2022. The 2022 also have Bluetooth and I think the audio quality is fine

    • you got a link for 2022, hard to tell which ones are the right one on google. Is the 2022 version also called barracuda X?

      • +1

Yep. Also Barracuda X. The 2022 also has a much better battery life ~50 hours v ~25 hours. The 2022 model has a USB-C dongle that's off centre.

  • It's just ok, got it for Teams calls (works both with PC & Android), the best thing is the range, easily move around a big house without any cut outs, in comparison Logitech G PRO-X gaming headphones RRP $250 has pathetic range

  • not great

  • These are only just okay for the price if you need wireless + mic. I regret not spending a bit more and getting something of much higher quality.
