Last time I checked, they lowered it to $20 block amounts. My account says redeem when I reach $20.

Just to confirm this works, doesn't need any sort of activation but I would shop via the zip app just to be on the safe side. Can stack with gift cards as long as reach the 1k on the zip side (don't believe it has to be 1 transaction all at once but I'm not sure, I just did it in 1). And you get to pick which zip account you redeem each block to (5×$20 blocks)
Does it have to be $1000 in one go or can be split over a few transactions?
I had to do mine in 2 transactions, I will let you know if it works.

No, it hasn't been applied immediately. I haven't used zip for a couple of years since they did all the pizza hut, big w, chemist warehouse deals and they took a couple of days to apply the cashback then, so hoping this is the same.
@Smoosh: Thanks, I just did 2 transactions as well - please keep us updated how you go so I know if I also need to contact support. Though my 2 transactions were yesterday and today.
@tajid: I contacted support today, the rep also didn't know if I would get the rewards due to doing the 2 separate transactions, he has escalated my case. I had to purchase from 2 different stores and therefore had to 2 the separate purchases. Not sure if that will help with getting the reward.
@tajid: Checked my app this morning and my rewards were applied! So yes it works for sure. Seems like it needed to be escalated with support to be recognised though.

Called this morning and the customer service insisted I did it wrong by using tap and pay because it goes via Visa etc. I had to show him jb website that says you can do tap and pay and also said I've bought using one time cards in the past and still received reward so they wille escalate.
My cash back was there the same day I purchased. 5*$20
