  • Another dodgy service ad.

Please put price in title and perhaps when it does start. Also would be a good idea to put NSW only and maybe at least suburb in the description

      • Thanks i followed the link too, its also Liverpool

  • Wow, that's expensive !!!

I assume this is their normal price as it doesn't mention any savings…

5 Litres of cheap oil, coupled with a cheap oil filter and spark plugs for the same price as most other workshops charge… what a deal!

        Ditto

Car service coupon is the thing that I always avoid!!

  • Can you just tell them "I want the oil change, filter, check and fill up other liquids and new spark plugs". No 55 safety inspection please (this is where they find other things that needed to be fixed.

  • Yeah, they should just do the service for 10$ because they'll make all of the money back in the inspection "sorry sir, we can't let you leave because your car is not roadworthy, you need to spend 200$ on head light fluid and another 300$ on a new tyre because you've got left sided tyres on the right side of your car"

  • BEWARE kind of this coupon, I am one of the victim couple years ago, some one knock the door and offer us a varies of coupon for car services at jaxquickfix, we choose major services coupon for $149 because with all the list we can get, its kinda BARGAIN!, and at the end, they charged us $485 saying that we need to do inject pump, bllblalblal and blalblala, (so many thing I even forget it) when I say "no" , the guy told me that , "if you dont want to do it, i guarantee you in the next 2 weeks, you car will broke and something will blow up cause …. (i forget as i am no mechanic) and when that things happen its not even cost you $485, but $4000 to fix your car" and no choice, we pay $485. dodgy!

    I don't see a bargain here.
    Smells like a rat.
    Avoid!

Looks like a shop-a-docket, and a badly photochopped one at that. You never get away with paying the price on the coupon, there are always extras which they usually do without your consent and then hold your car hostage until you pay up.

It's already been said twice, I'll say it again - AVOID.

  • I can get service for $80 from local

I just like to ask one question, would it be nice to know that you can drive the car to the next weekend outings and back home?
Hopefully your car is in best of condition but would it be just nice to have a written confirmation for that and should there be anything that needs attention isn't it nice to know?
No repair shop can force you to pay for any works done to the car without your approval and that gives you a chanace to think.
I guess it all comes to one thing and that is whether you like to trust somebody or not?
Give us an opportunity to impress you and we shall do just that as we have many others.
I would like also to thank all of you taking time to post these comments and hope that i have given all of you the insight in what we do. As we put it "if we can't show it to you, we will not talk to you about it".
    Cheers
    Take care

    • My mechanic offers the same service for $80

    • You can show me anything, being that i am not a mechanic its almost pointless.

This is a public forum, great test for your company to see the reaction these deals actually get.

I do appreciate how you are not offended and actually come back with some good points to think about.

but when the mechanic told you something that you need to do this and you are not agree, and he insist to do it otherwise something bad happen to your car. and what do you think about it? if you are in my shoes, and you have no idea about car, what are you gonna do? just kept say no? how about in the next 2 weeks its really broke? how the hell I know that it might be the dodgy mechanic do something with your car because he insist you to pay!
