    Normally $399 RRP
(that may contain minor scuff marks that vary from unit to unit).

    $399 for used ones ???

    • +3

      That's the new item price.

This isn't a new item though, so the price comparison is pointless…

        • +4

It's absolutely relevant. If the new price was only slightly more you'd perhaps just buy new.

It's also illegal under ACCC laws.

How much are used ones normally?

            • +4

@jv: New price will always be relevant when deciding between new or used.

This site is not for that, it is for posting bargains…

                misleading price comparisons don't help.

                  @jv: Well it's still a bargain nonetheless.

I’ve amended the post to include $399RRP for new stock. Hopefully that clears up any confusion

  • I was just about to buy but from my quick research it looks like whilst it has Google Assistant it does not work with Google Cast, which is a real shame as all my other speakers in the house are grouped that way :(

  • Lack of 5G wifi is a huge Nope for me…

    • It says it does though

      Wi-Fi
      Yes
      2.4GHz (11b/g/n)
      5GHz (11a/n/ac)

  • Plus this model is mono and requires two for stereo. The next model up, the 250, is the minimum you'd want in the range of three. Based on a whathifi review

  • Can anyone tell me if these speakers can be used as surround with Marantz and Denon receivers?

    • It might vary between models but my Marantz needs its discrete surround channels wired. The manual only mentions HEOS for multi-room simultaneous audio.
You could use them as 'surrounds' but they would just mirror the fronts similar to the way 'All Zone Stereo' does, but might only be a dual L/R mono mix (assuming there's 2 of them)

      • I have SR7011. I have wired surround but I wanted wireless solution. I have moved into a place with less space to have bookshelf speakers.

    • Denon Home 150 speakers can be used as wireless surround speakers when combined with a Denon Home Soundbar 550, but not an AV receiver. It is possible to use the HEOS App to Group Denon Home 150 speakers with an AVR so that you can get whatever is playing in the AVR to output to the speaker(s) in Stereo, creating multi zones throughout your home. However, they cannot be used as wireless surround speakers with an AV receiver. I

      • Thanks for the clarification. Much appreciated.

    • Not without help, but help exists. Add a wireless audio adapter (e.g. https://www.svsound.com/products/soundpath-tri-band-wireless…) and you're good.

      • Isn't it just for sub? I always thought it was just for subs.

        Sound good to me. Thanks

        • The adapter handles stereo which is ideal for left/right. I have exactly this setup - SVS adapter, 2 x Denon Home 150.
