forget the single player, some of the mw2 patches be crazy by themselves.
100gb isn't a lot in 2022
It is when you want to play the game.
The process was:
- install the game
- search through all the dogshit ads to find that singleplayer is missing
- figure out that you have to download packs or something to get singleplayer
- can't download singleplayer til you download a mandatory 50gb update and install that
- then you're allowed to download singleplayer and that's another 50gb update and install
I deleted it and returned the game, couldn't be (profanity) at that point
That's not how I remember my experience. I loaded it up and swiped one blade from multi to singleplayer then hit download and switched my console off and did something else. My X downloads at about 120mbps so 100gb doesn't take too long.

Well at least it's not the 2007 version
The 2007 version was the best version imo, absolute game changer for FPS as a whole with the create-a-class system.
Anyone tossing up on this, its definitely a worthy purchase, great campaign with incredible cinematics. Buying it this late in its life means pretty much everything has been polished. As mentioned be wary of the download amount, activision/blizzard showing complete disrespect towards people with 100gb starter downloads then 50+gb updates. Its the only thing I can fault about this game, aside from that its great and from what I have seen its still quite active even with the release of MW2.

Worst bloody game! Full of Campers in Multiplayer!! MW2 is so much better, Would not spend a single cent on this game. No wonder its so cheap!!
FYI the singleplayer isn't on the disc and requires ridiculous (profanity) downloading like 100GB to get it. Takes ages.
