  I was skeptical on upgrading as well but there's a big difference between the original and this in terms of sound quality. The sound is a lot fuller and meatier without sacrificing the clarity of the original. The transparency mode is also better and can block sudden loud sounds. The noise cancelling is also a lot better now I'd say overall definitely worth upgrading. I got mine for ~$330 after a price match from OW on Black Friday.

  I recently upgraded to the AirPods Pro 2 from the AirPods Pro 1. I noticed the audio improvements the second I put mine in, especially the bass. The bass on the AirPods Pro 2 sounds almost as good as my beloved Bose qc35 headphones.
  
  I think it’s worth the upgrade for me since I got it at a discount price.
