I think this is the 2nd lowest I have seen it.
This seems to be the cheapest I've found.

Good stuff. But why a 48inch tv? It seems kind of small in late 2022..
Or kinda big as a monitor!
I've been using the 48" CX (2020 model), in the office as a gaming\coding monitor for 2 years. I will move that one to the bedroom and place the C2 with the EVO panel in the office.
It is large but I've built a desk so it's wide enough, for my use case I love it.

Any issue with burn in? Been toying with the idea of using an OLED as my primary work monitor. I look at a lot of spreadsheets and word docs so unsure about burn in.
@Fotato: I had the 48" CX from launch until I sold it a few months ago and bought the 42" C2. Zero issues with burn in despite having been used as a PC monitor with WFH full time during that period. The only things I do are autohide taskbars/docks etc, and have a pure black background.
@Fotato: zero with heavy daily usage, 8 to 10 hours for work, and 30 mins to 90 mins to game every day.
I also have 65" C9 in the living room with no issues either.
Not all TV's are for big lounge rooms
If you buy this, you are a winner :D (I have a C1 and still feel like a winner)
I have a CS and I can confirm this statement
Can confirm. I don't have a C1 or C2 and I feel like a loser.
Also keep in mind when C&C'ing these things is that you need to transport it standing up. It cannot be layed down. When I collected mine JBHIFI wouldn't even let me leave the loading bay with it not standing up
I got my 65 off the dock and into my stationwagon lying down at JB, but had to inspect it and sign a waver. Not saying that I would necessarily recommend it though. I wish that the message that you are thankfully sharing was better highlighted at purchase by JB, which I told them, and the loading bay guys wholeheartedly agreed with because it's a pain in their ass too.
Laying down screen side up or screen side down ?
Should do neither
Sounds like the stationbargoned-transported item survived the trip?
@UsernameChecksIn: And the first step in the instructions is to lay it flat on its screen to screw on the legs. I guess it’s just a transporting problem though, hire a van.
still waiting on the 83" to go on special…
How much did you want to pay for it?
They were around $6.5k during black friday?
$5-$5.5k that would be a bargain price ill probably buy 3 of them
You may be waiting another year or two.
Even the superseded 83" C1's didn't go under $6k during run out.
@JimB: actually this - Sony a90j 83" Bravia XR Master Series oled 2021 was going for $6379 but as per previous discussion in another thread that price wasn't cheap.
found it - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/738539#comment-12998714
@Retarded Lunatic: Still more than $6k ;)
Anyway, I waited years for a reasonably priced large OLED.
Didn't want to wait for too much longer so ended up getting a LG 83" last year for $6.5k.
Glad I got it last year as it wasn't any cheaper this year.
You may have to wait another year or two before you can get a 83" for $5-5.5k.
You mentioned '$5-$5.5k that would be a bargain price ill probably buy 3 of them'
If you can afford $15k for 3 OLEDs, surely you could afford to buy 1 at $6.5k.
@JimB: Instructions clear
Build a bigger wall out of four slightly smaller OLED TVs
binning!
@UsernameChecksIn: 4 x 48" OLED = 96" for under $8k.
Can someone explain the difference between this (C2) and the CS (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/741370)? Quite a difference, I would imagine, having regard to the price difference.
C1 panel + C2 processor
Is it really this simple?
Does the C2 and CS have the same wifi module?
Should do. CS is literally the c1 panel with a c2 controller/board, at least that's what I read elsewhere.
What's so special about the C2 wifi module?
Doesn't ship to WA
5.4k for a TV?
Bargain!
Had a sony oled. Sold it.
If you value being able to use your large display device before the hours of sunset in a room with any windows, OLED is garbage.
Looked great. At night. Not great enough to sacrifice QLED brightness and actual daytime useability.
I got this TV delivered from the Goodguys for $4796 +$55 delivery yesterday.
How did you manage to get it for that cheap?
Sorry for the late reply. Just before Xmas, they had a deal going but the 77in wasn't on the website so I just called my local and they said the above so I bit.
Got this for $3645 inc. delivery direct from LG, though only after a 40% coupon used from the LG spin the wheel promo, good promo that ran last year as well. Just need an LG account.
They also have the LG C2 48" for $1,890 + shipping $45.00 to Brisbane
https://www.videopro.com.au/product/lg-48-4k-oled-evo-c2-ser…
I was able to get JB to price match since their shipping was $27.00.
